Haiti has had a lot of bad crap happen in and around the country. A lot of it the worst that mother nature and humankind can dish out. . .

Interestingly enough, I saw in that article where he launched Taco Bell in Downey California (suburb of Los Angeles) in 1962.  Coincidentally, Downey is also the location of the oldest free-standing McDonald's restaurant in the U.S.  I had lunch at that McDonald's last time I was in Los Angeles.
