I haven't been following the games like I used to since we can't get FSMW Indidna anymore but my mom does. I imaging if it's telecast on TBS or ESPN we'll probably watch it though. I know mom will keep us updated on the score at any rate 'cause she usually does...

Didn't stick around long enough to see. Why is it no matter who's on the team and no matter who's coaching they always end up the same way in the last quarter when they get behind, making stupid mistakes? They've been doing that since I started watching 15yrs ago with very few exceptions.

I think, the Heat SHOULD win the series, but I am thinking it will go 6, maybe 7 games....the pacers were in that game until the last five minutes.....
GO PACERS!!!
Oh, the Pacers are definitely going to win some games during the series. I'm certain of that. Especially with Bosh out indefinitely.

That would be great. Just hope they don't choke at the end like PH says. They do have a bad habit of doing that and have had forever.
I don't think they choked, they just got beat. Plain and simple.

Sounds like it was a good game. Hubby just gets upset at the announcers the way they talk about the Pacer's most of the time. C B really gets on his last nerve sometimes too.
Boom Baby!!
All I got to see was the last minute....which turns out was all I needed to see!!
See ya in Indy!

I will have to admit it's been a while since I was there. I think it was about 15yrs ago I went to the Slippery Noodle to see a friend of mine play. Does that place still exist?

It is worth seeing in my opinion. While it isn't in the same realm as Chicago or NYC, it does have its own unique charm. The Inpls Indians are definitely worth the price of admission though, so if you ever wander to Indpls in baseball season, be sure to take some time for a game there. You'll see big league style baseball without all the pomp and egotistical BS, in an environment that is pretty damned relaxing in my honest opinion. (I personally rank an Indians Game experience far above Bankers Life and Lucas Oil). I've never had a bad time at an Indians game, and I attended 2 full seasons of games my first 2 years in Indpls. (Company I worked for was right across the road from Victory Field and they had a lot of season tickets that I had access to for every game).
The canal walk has a unique charm of its own, and Victory Field, Bankers Life, Lucas Oil, St Elmo's Steakhouse, Circle Center Mall, are all a very easy walk from any one of the parking garages downtown; as are numerous other attractions, including the Indpls Zoo.
One could potentially spend a day and an evening there and see all of these things without having to fight traffic, etc. I've down so many times in my time here, though not so much since moving north of Indy.
Some of those venues will cost you though, so bring the plastic.

Udonis Haslem might be ridin the pine too.
I like Larry Birds comments though, after the game, he called his own team...SOFT.
I think he may be trying to motivate for a great game 6 in Indy.
Haslem for 1 game; Pittman for 3.
I still say the Heat close it out tomorrow night though.
Probably. . . but I wouldn't bet on it. There is probably a lot of pressure from the NBA as well as the franchise owners themselves to make it go 7 games. (More money to be made).

To steal the famous saying from my boys from Wrigley .... "Wait till next year!!"
They choked. . . bottom line. . .
Like every other Indpls team, they could not handle the pressure.
it is called inexperienced...they are young, and building. A choke, in my opinion is when a team blows a huge lead or makes some dumb mistakes when it counts.......the heat is a better team than the pacers...and the pacers just got beat.

If it is not the "favored team" or player I have seen traveling calls. They have allowed 2 steps and a jump carrying the ball for a while now but some can get away with more. I've seen darling Kobe take 3 or 4 steps and not get called. Announcers explanation was "that's the way he plays". It was back when good old Phil was still coaching them that happened. Don't remember who they were playing but it was during the finals.
