Bobby Jindal....a brown, Asian, Indian, Hindu-turned-Christian, social conservative, enthusiastic, energetic, articulating, with inspiring speaking abilities...who has accomplished a great resume by being a president of a university, a policy advisor for the United States Department of Health and Human Services, as a congressman, and currently as governor...has a good looking wife, and a son..........and JUST seems to be the perfect running mate for John McCain............imo............he would be a potential first-man of "color"...to sit in the White House..........the more I read about him........the more I like him......and see him as a real........spoiler for the democrat party..........and a savior to the republican party.....................but that's just my opinion.

Do you mean Piyush Jindal?

Gryphon

his name sounds funny...which (if my time on forums is any indication) makes him suspect, and certainly not someone that your run of the mill conservative could vote for.
and that he actually was a Hindu (to these same people) probably means he'd turn over the keys to the white house to any Asian country that wanted them.

whats the world coming to.

Gryph is right Muslim-Christian, Hindu-Christian, whatever.....it'll never fly in states like West Virginia or Kentucky.

You're different Henry. Most of the time you have brains.

No offense please. My doctor said the same thing to me the other day. He asked if I have ever had back problems and I assured him that I hadn't until now. Then he said, with a wry grin, "You must be a smart person...most of the time."

you have made that comment before...........and you may be correct......i can't argue it.............but are you STILL talking conservatives over repubs?.........because I can see some repubs possibly falling into redneck category............but, conservatives, I usually see as being more consistant with beliefs........and from what I have understood, to be along the lines of my way of thinking.......

I think Henry is a closet liberal and he uses the conservative facade to cover up his true feelings. It's okay Henry, we're your friends
