Although they're mostly geared towards children...Disney's Family Fun website has A LOT of great homemade costume ideas!

A girl I know dressed head to toe in black....and to the clothes had stuck broken car pieces and prescription bottles labeled "Prozac" "Valium" etc.
She went as...ready?
A nervous wreck...

My kids always get ripped off at Halloween. Last year it was because of a little issue I was going through, mentally...the year before that the good ole mother in law made us very late leaving Columbus and got home with about  30 minutes of trick or treat time to spare. If my kids go this year at all, it will be a miracle. LOL

Well, the great thing about being a kid and having stores such as "Dollar Tree"...it doesn't cost much to throw together a costume -- a cowboy, a princess, a fairy, a fireman...just a couple accessories & they're ready to go.

They want to be mafia gangsters. OMG

That should be easy to put together! Does Aaron have any suit jackets they could wear? If not...I'm sure a thrift store would be full of them & a couple derby hats. Cute.

~Daisy~

Why don't you move to Indiana? You are better at this than me in tracking down their whimsical ideas!!!!

Aaron has a couple suit jackets, but they would absolutely swim in them. LOL

Suit jackets are an absolute perfect garage sale or GoodWill find...too bad you didn't live a little closer.

My best friend (just got married this summer) is dressing up with her newlywed husband as a gorey wedding couple. She bought a wedding dress & will be splattering fake blood all over them.

Sounds a bit dramatic to me.

OK hows this...

make a big "box" to put overmyself.
Wrap the box in gift paper.
Put a huge tag on it that says "To: Women, From: GOD"

get it? Gods gift to women
LOL

I posted about my kids halloween costumes and my stroke of genius on a different thread. I'm to lazy to type it again. LOL
