Ya know, I never even thought about insurance on those things.

Wow!

Talk about a risk!!

I'm amazed anyone would cover those (isn't that kind of stuff usually excluded?).

well post some pics of it for us!

Im putting up TWO trees this year, because Im having a holiday charity event at my house and have to have the place decked out for that.

followsthewolf

Yeah, Henry. Flash a few for us, will ya?

When I was young, my decorations consisted of one sprig of real mistletoe hung strategically over the center of my bed.

Easy to decorate, easy to undecorate.

Lotsa fun in-between.

Not patented.

Use it with my blessings, Henry.

Hope your good fortune swells with the season.

My condolences, Henry.. (he said as he eyed his great good fortune and smiled with contentment).

Interesting...well I've never seen an exclusion on an open peril policy, but I will try to remember to ask my dad...He's the King of Claims.

Well, I got wreaths on all the front windows...lights on all the bushes, pine boughs on the front porch railings, and the downstairs tree put up. How are your holiday decorating plans coming?

Sandy Eggo

You do more than one tree? We live in a ranch style house, but as a tradition only do one. We normally wait until the first weekend in December to decorate the house, so we'll do that this coming weekend. I've gotten out all the old decorations and gone through them and tested lights and made a list of what we need to decorate this year. That's about as far as I've gotten. This will be my second Christmas in California and it's kinda difficult to get into the Christmas spirit when it's in the mid-seventies outside.

Our neighborhood has an abundance of white "icicle" lights this year. I'm thinking there was a big sale somewhere, and I missed it. Its funny because of the six houses right by us, only one of them had lights up at all last year.

I haven't decided if we are going to put out lights. I'm broke, and frankly can't afford new lights this year unless I buy them next weekend, BUT...I dont' know if I should bother since, even though we have until March to buy or get out, if I know I have to get out anyway, I may not want to prolong it. Ya know?? Hmm...what to do, what to do?
