...owned his own business'

Really? He worked in his Family-Owned oil business for a while. Was part-owner of a baseball team...

Stellar job history there

How'd that turn out?

He still owned them...........he may not have been Donald Trump........but, at least he was in the market of making a living on his own....

and THAT would be......................WHAT?

You know you can look that up yourself.  I'm not defending his voting record, I'm just saying if you want to see how he has voted, what he stands for, etc., just look at how he's voted.

QuoteWhatever you think about him, he at least showed what he had done in the past. We do not have that with Obama.

I was just responding to this statement.

And that is an accomplishment that merits Presidential notice?  Has Obama risen to fame through welfare and handouts...no hard work at all?

had a resume' that blows obamas out of the water.......

head cheerleader
member of the secretive Skull and Bones society
accepted into the Texas Air National Guard despite only scoring in the 25th percentile on the pilot's written aptitude test,
applied to the University of Texas School of Law and was rejected
admitted to drinking "too much" in those years and described this period of his life as his "nomadic" period of "irresponsible youth".
On September 4, 1976, at the age of 30, Bush was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol

I'm not jumpin on ya IYT...........I'm just responding also............I think this guy is getting a pass on his accomplishments (or lack of) simply because he can woo a crowd with cheap talk...............people are treating him like a rock star and he has not really done ANYTHING..........a three year old senator..........who only talks about CHANGE....THAT concerns me a lot....

But that's what every Senator's job is - to vote. I can 'assume' he voted party-line. Woo Hoo - big deal! That doesn't mean he's qualified to be President. I think he should remain a Senator and pen a couiple of bills / laws so he can stand on those for the citizens to decide for or against - like McCain.

Bush's psuedo-Christian "talk" has been wooing right wing sheep for 8 years. Obama makes good points re: change and getting our country back on track. Your boy created this mess. The only point Dubby has is the top of his head. You better get used to the idea to the idea of Obama or McCain.

Bush NEVER wowed me with his Christian talk.........that is only dribble from the left that jumped all over him talking about his faith...

My point with obama is...............he talks about CHANGE and getting our country back on track, but has yet pointed out on HOW he is going to that.....

he says he will pull the troops out of Iraq within 3 months..................that will be change, but will it be for the GOOD or BAD.
he says he will raise taxes on the rich............................I'm not sold that will be for the GOOD.........
he says he will build bridges to unite the parties................but has not said what or how that will be done.......

he says things that sound hunky-dorie.......unicorns and rainbows..........but, has not even come CLOSE to convincing me that he can make this a better place....

and I have accepted McCain as my candidate............he has a track record of accomplishments and leadership skills, that FAR outway obamas....

BUT, I am going to stay focused this election..........and stay open-minded..........I think this country is in REAL need of leadership...

Why do you even ask Henry?  You're not going to vote for him and this thread isn't designed to change your mind.  It's just another opportunity for you to parrot the same crap that Fox News is airing night after night.

Nah, Hank.

You'll vote for any republican thrown out there.

McCain just happens to be the disappointing candidate.

Most ultra conservatives are now weeping silently for two-buck huck.
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

Are you kidding me?  McCain's speeches are incredibly vague when it comes to the issues that most impact the American people.

He's already admitted he's no economic wizard.  Is that the kind of guy we need running a country facing stagnant economic growth and $4 a gallon gasoline?

It is pretty clear he's a war-monger though.  Perhaps that's the talk you understand.

two-buck huck is STILL better than the left has promoted........I have respect for dems like Dennis Kussinich and Joe Lieberman..........but, they don't have the liberal media behind them, so they never stood a chance......

McCain is more lib than conservative..........and I WILL vote for him, cuz all that is left is socialists...
