No Hawk, the nation in not a little smarter.  The crazies have taken over and you will see nothing but trouble for the next two years.  Nothing done, nothing accomplished, nothing but trouble.  I want the Democrats to do and pull everything you assholes have done to us, the Democrats and the nation.  Chicken Hawk, you got it coming.

Just look at the Republican controlled Congress, the lowest rating in history and the least amount of work done in history, far worse than the Do Nothing Congress in the past.  This is the actions of your stupid Republicans Party and their great Dirty Tricks team. I hope you're happy, but I will guarantee this country is headed for a depression because of the greed and stupidity of the Republican Party and the stupid assholes who elected them.

Just name me one thing the Republican Party has ever done for the middle class and you think you are one of them.

The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.

The following addresses ignorance, not stupidity, but sometimes it's hard to tell the difference.   :dizzy2:

"We are not able to know everything about anything! And doubtless there are vast fields of the partially knowable that we do not know enough about yet to be ignorant of." ....

--Harlow Shapley: 1885-1972, American Astronomer

A young man, a co-worker, once said about another co-worker: "She's so ignorant she doesn't know she's stupid." ... or was it the other way around? Have to admit it made me stop and think.

How old is your modem? Comcast has increased the speed of their networks. To take advantage of the higher speeds, you need a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. DOCSIS 2.0 will still work, but if you upgrade, you'll probably get much faster speeds. I did!

I was also experiencing a lot of signal drops with the old modem. I sometimes had to reset it several times a day. The new one is rock solid. Beware, though ... if you use VPN to connect to a work computer, you may have to delete all the old connection setups and redo them.

BTW, You probably are already renting your old one from them. The rent on the new one is the same.

I don't remember how old the modem is, I looked on our bill and there isn't a sepapate charge for it so maybe it is buried in something else.

It should be listed on the Service Details page - under XFinity Internet Services. It may be listed as a Gateway Device or a Modem.

Your modem should have a model number on a sticker on it somewhere. If you Google the brand and model number and see the specs on it.

Typical, "I can't defend this so I'll knock the person", response.  When are you going to grow up and learn to act like a man anyway?

You might want to make sure your own house is in order before you start implying other people are stupid.
