Didn't say I did.....Let me ask you is it your opinion that our government gets to decide how we spend our money?

From the first post I read of yours I decided you were selfish, greedy and self obsessed.     For someone who doesn't want to pay taxes you sure have lead a great.     Living off the benefits the UAW gave your dad.   With the roads and snow removal you drove on this winter and all of the things you have used that taxpayers provide for the American style of living.

You just another freeloading TeaRepubican who doesn't want to pay to live in America.  :finger2:

Oh yes, what about the two wars your buddy George W. Bush got us into and killed over 4,500 of our young men and women and thousands who have been crippled for life.  7 years of war and over a Trillion dollars it cost to fight George W's wars and you bitch about taxes.

You tell me.  Should I be able to spend my money on meth or heroin if I want to?  How about on an underage prostitute?  Should I be able to buy a slave?  How about pay someone to assassinate someone I don't like?

Of course not and the reason we allow the government to decide how we spend our money in such cases is because we, as a society, see these things as morally reprehensible.  I would submit that allowing people to spend their money to buy influence in the political process that allows them to get legislation passed that benefits only them and to the detriment of the rest of society rises to that same level.

But are you saying it is okay to spend SOME money on the political process or just a "pre-determined" amount set by the government?  I'm not saying I like it, but I think it is strictly going agianst the 1st amendment....freedom of speech.

Welcome to the end of democracy.

The Republican Party has become the new Nazi Party of America.  With a rigged Republican controlled Supreme Court, voter suppression, Gerrymandering of congressional seats insuring control of the House of Representives.     This is the exact way Hitler took over Germany.  It is easy when you have a selfish,  mindless, stupid Sheeple voter base to let this country be bought by the 1% of the super rich predatory capitalist.  :2cents:  :trustme:  :flag:

THIS ISN'T THE AMERICAN WAY!!!!!  IT'S

No.  Money has no place in the political process at all.

Then so does restricting access to underage hookers.  The nerve of those bastards!

And no one is restricting their right to say whatever they want.  That doesn't give them the right to amplify their voices in such a way as to drown out those of everyone else.

I am not saying I have an answer to this problem....but, the SCOTUS did their job in upholding the constitution.

I can't speak to that since I am not a constitutional scholar but it would be difficult for me to believe this is what the framers, who went out of their way to insure that everyone was included in the political process regardless of their stature, would have intended with the First Amendment.

I am not saying 100% I disagree with you, but I do have respect for those sitting on the SCOTUS.  They are constitutional scholars.

Funny...you didn't seem to have such support for them when they upheld the Affordable Care Act.

I have much respect for Roberts, and HE was the major influence on the ACA....show me where I didn't support him.  I may have disagreed, but HE is the scholar and I think he is honest.

POP QUIZ!  Ready?

There are 5 lanes on the fucking expressway and you're on your motorcycle.  Your motorcycle experiences difficulties.  It will still run, but only about 10 miles per hour.  Which lane are you in?

I just about killed some dumb mother fucker who was right in the middle lane.  The car in front of me swerved, and here I was bearing down on this douchebag at 75 mph.  He might as well have been standing still.  I almost hope he gets maimed so he's removed from the gene pool.
