Yes. But did you read beyond the headline?

"The stock market has climbed about 76 percent over the past four years. Commodities have soared even higher, with gold and silver up more than 100 percent, and even bonds have maintained their value as a safe-haven trade for investors too afraid of market volatility."

"With Obama getting re-elected it's sort of the status quo and the QE carries on," said Lee Ferridge, head of macro strategy for North America at State Street Global Markets. "The result is positive for risk generally — negative for the dollar but positive for risk."

"The market reaction might be quite positive because the Europeans are clearly voting with relief that this seems the U.S. isn't going to go down the austerity route," Chuck Gabriel at Capital Alpha Partners told CNBC. "And it looks as though QE4 will be fine as early as the end of the fourth quarter."

I wasn't aiming at a direct puch at Obama.  Just saying that it IS a concern, now that the election went as it did.  I sincerely hope and pray that it continues to grow.  I need my company (the one I work for) to continue to grow.  I have mouths to feed.

Of course it's a concern. Now let's see if the obstructionist repubs are willing to compromise to fix things quickly. After all, they have failed in their attempt to limit Obama to one term by nearly destroying the country. My guess is they have no choice but to cave.

I think it is all upon Obama to render this situation, by reaching across the aisle and compromising on a deal that works for ALL Americans.  I'm tired of the blame game.  The dems are not innocent, by any shape, matter or fashion.

Obama has already reached across the aisle. Does the Budget Control Act of 2011 ring a bell? Obama and Biden reached a compromise with Boener and McConnell to get it passed. The cuts in that "cliff" are the direct result of Republican demands to cut spending.

They'd better start getting something done or they'll be looking for new jobs come the mid-term elections.  People are tired of this obstructionist bullshit.

The latest health study of Sciatic Nerve Pain.

The latest study says that Steroid  pain shots don't work.     I am here to testify that they don't.  After four years of three pain doctors, a spine and brain surgeon, five therapy sessions I got no relief that lasted for very long.  The doctors and hospitals use sciatic nerve pain to generate money.  The first pain doctor, I need a MRI and a hip X-ray.  Two series of shots that didn't work.  The second doctor was a spine and brain surgeon.  I need another MRI and a hip X-ray.  He wouldn't operate, he said more pain shots and therapy and I went to his pain doctor.  The pain shot lasted eleven months. they wore off and I when back to get some more.  Guess what, I need to see the surgeon again, another MRI and and another hip X-ray.

I had had it.  Then I saw an advertisement on TV about the Laser Spine Institute in Scottsdale AZ.  I flew there and they give me a MRI and found that two nerves were being pinched by the bone in my vertebra.  No shots, no therapy and no exercises was going to work.  The doctors made a 2 inch incision in my back and with their tools and lasers they open up the bone channel surrounding the nerves in my back.  Oh the relief.

When I woke up the pain was gone.  Right now the only pain I have is the operation it's self.  After four years of pain, ooh the relief.

It cost me $13,900 for the operation, Medicare paid $5,000.  If I hadn't had Medicare it would have cost me $18,9000.  Plus $1,000 in airfare, $1,080 for hotel and $450 for a rental car.  Expensive?  Yes.  Worth it?  You're damn right, I just wish I knew about the Laser Spine Institute sooner.           And the Republicans want to cut Medicare.     :finger2: Republicans.     If you got back pain, neck pain and can get the money Go.  They are Pros.

Yeah, uh, not!  Why do conservatives think that the same rhetoric that just cost them the presidential election will be any more effective now?

I just think it is now up to the POTUS, to see to it, that a deal is done.  THAT is HIS JOB.  We have the exact same people in place as we did two years ago.

My opinion, is the POTUS needs to do some prime time spots...and push his ideas.  He needs to get a handful of repubs in his corner........wheel and deal.  Reagan did it, Clinton did it and Bush did it....I have not seen where he has been too eager to get a done deal.

I don't think so pal........you have the WH and the Senate.......quit blaming everything that doesn't go your way.  This economy is Obama's now.  HE has to make some concessions, reach across the aisle as HE PROMISED...and strike a deal.

the onus is up to them.  The repubs has every much right to stand for their issues as the dems....the repubs see massive tax hikes as dangerous to our economy.  Why should they "just do it" ?
