Nope; the highest winds recorded that night were 59 MPH which the structure should have been easily able to withstand had it been properly anchored.  The report is citing an "inadequate lateral system;" the anchors are what provide that lateral support.  Mid-America Sound is on the hook for this one.

It sound like they would like to hook the band.  How could they see the storm coming.   :ne1:

Yup. Pretty obvious !

Am I right to think the cops :police: are going to far and over reaching.  The Anderson Herald Bulletin.  A state cop :police: stopped a car on West 38Th street for a passenger not wearing a seat belt.  He claims that after talking to the passengers he :police: becomes "suspicious", he searches the driver and finds some Hydrocodone without a without a prescription.  Oh, my god Hydrocodone.

He :police: arrest the driver and charges him with a Class D felony possession of a controlled substance.  He :police: then ticketed the other passengers for traffic violations and released.

What give a cop :police: the right to search the driver when a passenger is not wearing his seat belt and tell me what traffic violations would the passengers be guilty of and then released.   Damn we are living in a police state. :police: :police: :police: :police: :police: :police: :police: :police: :police: :police: :smash:   :smash:  :smash:

Some times my son will ask me for some of my hydrocodone for his wife's migraine headaches.  I hope he doesn't get stop before he get home.  I also carry one or two on me just in case I get a back spasms.  I guess I go to jail until I show my prescription to them.

I said a long time ago that things were going to get this way. With factories shutting down and families moving out and leaving houses vacant/foreclosed , the revenue streams are shrinking quickly. Sine most townships and states are addicted to that money they are going to do their damn best to try to get it elsewhere , and thusly we are in for a long stretch of this crap.

Today in Atlanta a 6 year old kindergartner was taken from her class room in handcuffs with her arms behind her back and taken from the school in a police car.

The cops :police: said she was arrested because her behavior was violent and disruptive and they :police: said they were concerned about the safety of the students and the staff.  WTF.  You can't get a 6 year old under control without handcuffs and arresting her in the class.  Oh, those big chickies  :police: :chick: .  I am sure glad they did have to shoot her.

If that experience scares the hell out of her though she may think twice before she does it again.  I know that sounds cruel but if she was totally out of control that may have been the best way to handle it both for their safety and hers.  If they had hurt her in some way trying to subdue her if she was kicking and flailing it would have been there asses in a sling.

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

If I had acted like that at that age, handcuffs would have been the least of my worries. :spooked:  Mom and Dad would have put a foot up my ass to correct the behavior.  Oh wait, they did do what they needed to keep me from acting like that.  Maybe this little girl missed out on the "how to behave" lessons.  I bet her "parents" are just that, in name only.

It would be sure interesting if the kid was MR442 and "ME"'s child.  I can just see the adult handcuffs on her little, little wrists.  What big bully boys these cops. :police: Why didn't they call an ambulance.

Well, I for one, am not for call the cops :police: when some kid looses it.  Damn what's wrong with this society that some people think the only people to call is the damn cops. :police: In some cases it's the last thing a intelligent person would do.

Troll you have no idea what kind of "out of control" this little girl was.  It may have been something which could not be gotten under control.  You, once again, are making a judgement call without knowing the facts.

If they can't call the police, what are they going to do? School teachers are so damned handicapped by rules and regulations that they can't even yell at the little monsters, much less give them a good spanking. I agree totally with Mr442 on this. Maybe she needs a few big feet up her ass.

When I went to grade school, if you acted like a jackwagon then you'd be stood up at the front of the class and made to bend over and grab your legs while the teacher / principal administered a good dose of whacks to your ass with a big paddle. (The paddle had holes drilled in it to increase stinging action).

Most of the kids only had to endure this once. . . And then afterwards mom and dad would take a nice switch to your ass, along with the compulsory denial of privileges for a suitable amount of time).

Today, if that happened it'd be on the news, the school administrators and teachers brought up on charges, and the parents charged with abuse.

And we wonder why we are cuffing 6 year olds?

when you take control of the classroom from the teacher, you get this stuff. i say plop her little five year old butt in a cop car handcuffs and all until she stops acting like a little demon.  sometimes you gotta be "hard" on a kid to get their attention.  wonder what her home life is like, since she obviously has no idea where behavioral boundarie are.
