They are saying it MUST be covered by their healthcare plan.....people do not HAVE to work for these guys and they know this going into the job....if they WANT birth control....then BUY IT.

Obama is NOW trying to back tracking and trying to force the HC provider to include FREE birth control.....

NOTHING is FREE...it WILL cost you and I somewhere down the line by the way.

Well if that's your position, healthcare shouldn't pay for prenatal care or childbirth either.  Pregnancy isn't a disease, it's a choice and I resent that my insurance costs are higher because I have to subsidize people who want to breed.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

It used to be that way, if you bought your own insurance you could choose not to have those things covered and you paid a lower premium. When you decided to have children you changed your coverage. When I was first married we had GM insurance but if you had not been married 9 full months when the baby was born it would not cover the maternity costs. I think it covered the baby after discharge from the hospital though.

Your right on the 9 months but if the child was born premature like my son was, Blue Cross paid for it.  Aren't you glad your husband had Blue Cross that the UAW negotiated for us.  And yes Blue Cross covered the baby after in was born.  Thanks UAW.   I wonder if Blue Cross paid for SCAB Hawk's birth.  Hummmmm?

Thanks Mitch and the Republican Party for the Right To Work For Less.  The bastards.

The problem with the 9 month thing is a friend was three days short of being married a full 9 months and they wouldn't pay. This was in the early 60's.

We were married in 1963, 49 years ago.

  :haha:   :haha:    :haha:      :haha:    :haha;

Can't make this up.  Rick Santorim and Mitt Romney want to make pornography illegal on the Internet and illegal in Hotels and Motels.   :haha:  :haha:     :haha:  And they talk about FREEDOM, who in hell do they speak for, not me.

Give me a break.  Do you know there pornography is most used?  It is use most in the Bible belt of Southern United States.  It is used in the privacy of their own homes, hotels and motels away from the prying eye of the preachers and the pinched nosed Christians.  :haha:  :haha:    :haha:

Don't the dumb bastards know that you can legislate morals.  But pornography is in the eyes of the beholder.

Keep piling it on Republicans.  :yeah:  :yeah:

We were married in 1964.  My friend's baby weighed about 7 pounds so it was not a preemie.

Now I don't have a dog in this fight.  But!

Why is Anderson hiring a Kentucky Professor to evaluate the value of the WIGWAM is to Anderson?

Now I'm not the smartest bulb in the pack, but the Wigwam has lost it value to Anderson, none of the younger generation even remember it.  It's day has come and gone.

The only way Anderson can afford it in to bring in the rest of the people's money from Madison County.  Now that's what I'm against.  :trustme:

I agree with your points surrounding the Wigwam. . .But I don't think the City has hired this professor to do his survey or to evaluate the wigwam. He's doing it on his own from what I can tell and know. . .

I actually received one of those surveys of his awhile ago. I filled it out and sent it in. This was back around or just before the holidays last year if I recall correctly.

More emotional propaganda proliferating the media from Dick Lugar; blaming the sitting POTUS for stopping the Keystone Pipeline. Nowhere does he mention why it was stopped and the potential for environmental disaster it represents.

Yeah Dick, we already know the oil industry has bought your loyalty, and that you do not care about the quality of life of your constituents. . .

Hum, never let a good disaster go to waste......Where have I heard that before?  Seems like it's been quite successful as of late.

I used to like Dick Lugar, even handed out leaflets for his campaign when he was running for mayor here.  Sadly, his time has passed and now he's nothing but a senile old man whose life in politics has left him clueless about what goes on in the real world.
