Common sense.  They shouldn't be able to disrupt or do what they're doing to those families.  It is taking the 1st amendment a tad too far.  They want to shut down opposing views but will allow something like this to go on.  Give me a break.  If this is the case then forget libel suits and anything that anyone says against anyone or for something else.  Freedom of speech ya know.  Picking and choosing in this manner is not acceptable IMO.

Here's where you said that the 1st amendment should be applied differently for that religious group. Who gets to decide what is okay to say under free speech? Is your interpretation of what's okay? No and it's that way to ensure that as American citizens we have the freedom to speak regardless of who likes it. Sometimes there are consequences when a law is broken by the things we say or how we say them. Unfortunately, Phelps and his group aren't breaking laws. As American citzens the same protections apply to his right to speak as ours and rightfully so. If we can silence him, then anybody can be silenced depending on who is administering the arbitrary judgment call of what is acceptable. As it is now, no one picks and chooses who can speak.

  5 of these people are to show up.  3 adults and 3 children.   But I just seen a picture of the antiprotesters and I look like there are are over 75 of them to surround the dumbasses.  If they are surrounded, you won't be able to see them of hear them.
