Ironic that conservatives are lifting up Coats as the golden boy. A conservative party that preaches pro life lifting up an individual who worked for the pro choice sector. . .

From where I am sitting this looks to be a very huge indicator of desperation, and an indication of the hypocrisy within the conservative platform. . .

First of all, HE is not the choice I wanted, I did not vote for him in the primary, but he is STILL better than having a person who is going to support the current agenda, that I 100% disagree with.  So, there is NO hypocricy at all, zero....just trying to move forward....we have been up to our ass with alligators for too long.

I voted for Brad Ellsworth, a man who has sacrificed his entire adult life serving the people of Indiana. Brad has never been corrupted by working in the private sector where business is driven by evil that masquerades under the name "profit". Brad Ellsworth, like our President, realizes that the document we call the Constitution is merely a piece of paper with words written on it so long ago they no longer have any real meaning in today's society. Too bad he lost.

I am worried about the new Representative from our own 8th district, Larry Buschon. If you rearrange the letters of his last name it can spell "Bush Con"! That is very scary to me.
What the Hell is a signature? Am I supposed to type something in this box? I guess I'll find out.

I voted for Brad Ellsworth....

I didn't. And Brad is an old friend from the soccer field. I voted for Rebecca Sink-Burris, because she was the only one who sounded like she made it out of middle school at the debate in Indianapolis.

I had such high hopes that everyone would vote for an Independent or NPA for every race where one was offered, and simply not vote (as I did) in races that offered only party-line candidates. I envisioned the whole country grinding to a halt because no candidate received a clear majority. (sigh)

So here we are, back to business as usual, with Boehner hot to re-do health care so his nursing home malpractice liability has a "reasonable" yuk, yuk cap. Rand Paul will hop on board that one, because he thinks optometrists (he is one) should be allowed to make a "comfortable living."

I have the sources, but I have decided PH is right. Why should I do all the work for you?

What the hell is it going to take before we stop giving these greedy bastards access to our money? I remember the words of P.J. O'Rourke (my favorite conservative columnist -- hell, who am I kidding?-- the only one I like) "Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys."

Listen up, y'all. This government is broken. It is time to do something else.

YES! But instead of killing them and making them into purses and shoes, we traded them off for Nile Crocodiles!

Well hell, I guess it doesn't matter now anyway. But I was going to sell all that croc meat to Kroger so they could sell it to "me and spouse" at a high profit!

I've had that problem for a looooong time for some reason and so do 2 of my daughters.  The make up nights, or days, are great though unless you have things planned.

The Troll

When a guy acted like the guy in the last post, I thought he was half baked, maybe a little looney.  But since I got my snow blower  I think it's fun.  Just make it deep.  At least 10 inches.
