I looked it up. In 2006, in it was India. In 2007, various Native American tribes -- the Nez Perce in particular. In 2008 it was Wisconsin farmers. In 2009, P G & E (where the hell did that come from?) No entry yet for 2010, but I bet me thinks she has the inside scoop.

  Sitting in the rain, doom and gloom, thinking where is my "Twin"  He probably vacationing down at the Gulf, crying about how unAmerican it is, on the treatment of GP.

There is a portion of my property that for me has become a pretty key indicator of impending flooding approaching near this end of town. In the 3 years we have lived here, when that corner of our property gets standing water in it, then the grounds are saturated and any additional rains cause severe flooding. . .

Well, despite the fact it stopped raining several hours ago, and the sun has been peeking out, I just walked over to that corner and there is still standing water there. And the radar indicates yet another round of heavy rain is on the way here. . .

Flood warnings are up and if you live in Madison county you had better pay close attention to them! When this rain arrives it WILL flood for sure!  :yes: :spooked: :rant:

  I live 10 miles east of Anderson and we got 3 inches of rain in our rain gauge last night.  Our back yard had about 4 inches of water in it.  We have lived here for 47 years and we have never had water standing there before.  All of the creeks and White River is out of their banks.  Keep your boats ready.

So far so good here.  Our basement is still dry too thank goodness.

Morgan County officials are calling for a voluntary evacuation due to potential and ongoing flooding.  :spooked:

Hendricks county has a hole in an earthen dam. . .  :spooked:
