If someone said those things to my mom or sister, I'd be totally ticked. Why shouldn't I defend a friend?

  Hell what is so wrong, the joke wasn't meant for "ME"  It was a joke that has been around for years and  years.

  I don't know what she looks like.  I'm no sexy stud myself, I'm 72 years old and my head look it's worn out 2 bodies.

I doubt it, he's set in his ways, which normlly is cool. He can even be charming. It's just the turn this teasing was taking that I didn't feel right about.

  I still why you you got torn up about a joke, unless somebody has tried to make a joke of you, just like me.  I use to be bullied and beat up by 5 different guys.  Then I grew up, got to be over 6ft 2 in.  Got into sports and could bench pressed around 300 lbs in high school and learned how to box a little and kicked the shit out of 2 brothers who always ganged up on me.  You know what, my life got a lot better, got some respect and I still hate bullies and I don't take shit off of anyone.

  If you treat me fair and good I will go out of my way to be the same with you.  But you might get by screwing me once, but believe me when I say don't try it again.  Maybe that's is why I might seem "cool" like "cold"  I'm really an old teddy bear. 

  When I first came on this forum I call you a "Sweet little tree hugger from California"  I hope that didn't bother you.  If you remember this is, at the same time, I called someone a High Maintainence Blond.  She really lost her cool, even came to where I live, got her boy friend envolved and what is so funny, I was just joking and didn't mean a thing about it.  So go figure.

All's good, Troll. I wasn't personally offended at all. I normally don't take any of this stuff that seriously.

I was feeling soft that day and felt like "me" was taking some hard hits that were really personal. I've always tried to be one that supports other women when I can, so I felt like I should say something on her behalf. That's really kinda arrogant of me, "me" can handle herself.

  This almost like what the Chinese and other foreign countries are doing to us. 

  First the steel industry, the electronic industry, the car industry, the rubber good industry, wind power industry and on and on and on.  No end and no America.

Personally, I think it's as dumb to say that a blizzard is proof that global warmin doesn't exist as I do, a hot summer day IS proof, but overall the numbers don't lie.

Ya, I guess a bunch of hypothetical numbers fed into a computer are more accurate than actual records kept of both extremes in any given period of time and the cycles mean nothing.  Damn that Al Bore is a smart man.....

Anyone who thinks the intentional misspelling of someone's name creating such a simple word, is humorous, need not talk about someone else's intellect. 

Having said that, what makes you think the numbers entered in any climate change study involving a computer are "hypothetical" and are not coming from actual information accrued over  years of study? Proof please.

Until you get over the fract that Al Gore is not global warming, you'll never be able to wrap your brain around the larer concept and evidence.
