according the the very group YOU said...the CBO said the following:

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- The Congressional Budget Office said Thursday a U.S. House health-care system re-write would extend health insurance to 96% of the nonelderly U.S. population by 2019, and spend $1.055 trillion to do so.

Oh for goodness sakes! What is it with you people who can't read past a headline of the first paragraph? No wonder you refuse to read the bill!

If you had continued reading YOUR SOURCE ...

"Penalties imposed on individuals who did not purchase insurance, and employers who did not offer coverage to their workers, would raise $161 billion over that time-frame. That brings the net cost of the bill to $894 billion through 2019, CBO said."

"The costs of the bill are fully offset by cuts to existing spending programs"

"n fact, the combined impact of provisions in the bill would be a net deficit reduction of $104 billion in the next decade, according to CBO."

"CBO also said the House bill would not add to the deficit in the first decade beyond 2019"

NOW THAT IS THE MOST ASSINE, RIDICULES, FOOLISH, LUDICRIOUS, OUTRAGEOUS STATEMENT THAT MAY HAVE EVER BEEN SAID ON THIS FORUM........AND 100% WRONG...AND THIS KIND OF LOGIC IS GOING TO BE THE DOWN FALL OF THIS COUNTRY....in my humbel opinion.

and with THAT said....I'm out again.

As I have pointed out numerous times in the past, the downfall of this country has much more to do with people who can't spell 'ridiculous', 'humble' or even 'downfall' having a voice in the political process and being allowed to breed than any effort to provide health care to everyone.

Skipped over this part though didn't ya?

whatever skippy.......

that is ALWAYS your response to when you don't have a good answer, is to attack penmanship and spelling and grammer.....and avoid answering the questions...

the bottom line is .... I can speak and spell just fine when and if I need too....I actually work, while I interact on here, and I rush through my answers..and I really don't care IF I spell something to make YOU happy or not......tbl...is....this country's problems IS not with grammer, it has MORE to deal with people who have lost base with common sense and logic....they somewhere along the lines have become lethargic and complacent with what is going on in Washington....the "blame Bush" crowd has lost their way...because that is NO longer a valid excuse.....hating conservatives and Christians seems to be more important than, actually learning what IS going on with the liberal base in this country.........the GOOD thing is, that AMERICAN's are waking up, and are responding LOUDLY....(good grammer or not)...the REAL working class people are beggining to speak up...and even though the democrats controll Washington.........AMERICAN's along with a few good politicians (some repubs, independents and few dems)...are going to make a difference in the LONG run....

There might be something wrong with this country, if there is bad grammar in the bills.  Something important might slip past!
Looks like I've come full circle.

* grammar, genius and I've already spoken at length about the effects of literacy on reading comprehension.

The rest of this is just blah, blah, blah from someone who has no idea what he's talking about and just wants to bitch like a little girl.

I don't get paid by taxpayers to write "good grammer".........if I did, I would get it right....and something IS slipping past that is VERY important.....and it is going to COST ALL Americans dearly....

When President John F. Kennedy signed a bill allowing up to 5% of all American clothing to be manufactured outside of the United States of America, it was the start of the crux of the problem in this country today. His action has only been exacerbated by the subsequent actions of those administrations that came after his. Bills like NAFTA have brought us rampant unemployment and reduced this country to a shell of its former self.

Any of you taken a look at your clothing lately to see where it was manufactured? I would bet a paycheck, (if I had one), that you will be very hard pressed to find one article of clothing that contains a label indicating it was manufactured in the United States.

The fact is only 5% or less of the clothing available for purchase in the United States was made here. In 1965 that number was 95%. And we wonder why there are no jobs. . .

Well here's a clue then: get used to the idea of a health care bill passing because it is going to happen.

it probably will.......but until then, I will speak my mind about WHY we should NOT be spending the peoples money on something that is NOT going to make things better.

if it passes THEN, along with MILLION's of other Americans, we will do what we got to TRY to salvage, whatever comes out of it...and fix it in 2012.

Probably not the 40 million who'll finally have health care.     And here's another clue...I don't mind paying a little more so that they can!
