  :rant: OK.....I'm sick to death of the economy slow down. I'm getting starved out at my job.  :mad: I've only been getting 13 hours a week. Take that times $8.10 per hour,times 2,and take off $60 for work gas!!!! Yeah, I'm starving!!! Baby Dexter needs a prosthetic leg, how am I gonna pay for that? :spooked: OK.... that last part was for dramatic effect. I'm just sayin'..... :biggrin:

  :rant: OK.... I bought a bag of snack size Starburst fruit chews, and I want to know why everytime I open one, I get the 2 flavors I don't like?  :mad: I like the cherry and orange ones. I'd say 4 out of 5 packs have the strawberry and lemon ones. WTH is that!!!!  :rolleyes: What a crock!!!!  :dam:  What a jip!!!  :mad:

  :rant: OK....I've got another one.....

Today, when I got off work I stopped at Walgreen's to buy some cat litter. When I got to the checkout, there were 5 people in line. The very first woman was buying a pack of cigarettes with all pennies!!! Now, I'm sympathetic to a degree because, I was raised dirt poor,and my Mom would send us to the gas station with pennies to buy her cigarettes. I don't know what makes me madder the fact that she's spending her last dollar on cigarettes, or that I feel sympathy for her. It was kind of crazy because, at least 3 people ahead of me bought cigarettes. I didn't realize people could still afford to smoke? The gal at the checkout register said they can hardly meet the demand for cigarettes.  :spooked: She said they're the cheapest place in the area.

It really does. There was an elderly lady ahead of me buying.... gasp... Pall Malls. She said she has tried everything out there, and cannot kick the habit. At her age I don't think I would even bother. My Mom smoked for 50 years, and she finally kicked the habit. I'm sure the damage is already done so why bother.  :rolleyes:
