Okay I would like to smack the genious that designed these "mobile units - AKA Trailers" that I teach in.  The heat comes out of the ceiling.  So your head sweats and your feet freeze.  Do they not understand the concept of heat rising?

Okay this must just be my day!

Okay so I called my flexible spending account people and asked if gym memberships were covered.  I had some other people with different FSA's tell me that theirs did.  The lady told me only if the doctor writes a letter saying it is medically necessary then you can use your FSA for that.  Well isn't going to the gym medically necessary for all of those going to it?  And the FSA is my money anyway.  I'll eventually have to pay it.  What gives?

It doesn't make sense for them to not cover it. Infact, they ought to encourage it IMO.

Okay this REALLY must be my week!

Some asshole took it upon him/herself to take their misting hose out to their lawn and "create" a winter wonderland.  Now normally I would look at this as just some dumbass that likes snow, however we are in a severe drought.  We have been for 6 months.  I hope he gets a huge fine.  As a matter of fact, maybe I would feel better if I contacted the city and tattled! hahahahhahahahaahaha

I hate the fluctuating gas prices. I got off of work Thursday morning and stopped to get cigarettes , gas was 2.98.  I didn't get gas then because the price had just went down and I was going to hold out for later in the day.  If it went down to 2.98 just Wednesday, surely it would go down a few more cents during the day if it was going to go down.  So I go out last night to pick up 16 from a friends house, I pass my gas station and I'm appalled to see it rose to $3.18!!!!  WTF??  Needless to say, I had no choice, I did have to stop and get gas.  grrrr.
Looks like I've come full circle.

What I would like to know is ..... HOW? do they arrive at these prices?..................oil went over $100 per barrel and gas went down...then it dropped to $99 per barrel and it went back up?.............wtf?

like pari said.....it can raise 30 cents in an hour's time?

by what standards to the logically conclude pricing at the pump?

we need to open the oil lines along the coast and in alaska....and then watch the worlds supply and demand change....

Greed Henry. I've been screaming that for a couple of years now. . .

Diesel is one of the lowest grades of petro; takes a lot less refining and value added activities to produce yet it is now consistently well over the price of gasoline. Why? Just look where the automotive industry is moving; toward diesel.

Diesel technology has the ability to well exceed the hybrid technology when it comes to fuel efficiency. VW's Jetta diesel for example, (expected in the US this year) has been able to achieve in excess of 50 mpg. Hybrids cannot touch that.

The petro industry has known this for quite awhile and saw the move toward diesel coming in the 2002 fiscal year. In 2003 diesel pick-ups were quite popular due to their fuel efficiency and power. The petro industry saw this and away the price per gallon went. . .

I think you should have called.  I hate that kind of shit when people completely disregard drought conditions and waste water particularly in such an egregious manner as that.
