The a/c in our apartment went out. The maintenance peeps say it'll be Monday before the guy who can fix it is back in the state. He's in Virginia installing a/c units to another complex the owner owns.

Four fans going but its scorching in here. 80 earlier inside. 89 outside. Tomorrow's high, last I heard, is 91.

It's always darkest before the dawn.  So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.

~Daisy~

Yes, yes it does.

Today will be spent at the movie theater. And anywhere NOT here.

Well the kiddos are working Daddy today. They're talking to him while he's still sleeping. I don't know if he realizes it, but he's out $25 and whatever it costs to buy AJ some fancy schmancy "pah-hah" gun  (named after the sound it makes or something.)

After 3 power surges yesterday the air conditioner came back to life. I guess it was in need of a defibulator.

Good ol Anderson power and light. . .

We came home to a hot house, since the same power surges knocked out of A/C. Luckily the reset button worked!

Oh so you guys had power surges yesterday, too? Ours were after the thunderstorm; I thought it was because I was using so many plugs and started unplugging fans. LOL

Yes, apparently we did. OUr power was out for some period of time as well. . . We didn't get to sit through it though. We went up north to spend time with my wife's father, and when we got back it was hotter than Hades in the house. . .

I could spit more than it rained though. . .

It poured here! And I mean poured. For ten good minutes. Hey, I'll take what I can get. I opened all the windows and it rained in and soaked the floors in the back of the apt. I didn't care...it was real rain!
