I meant she bred them together. They were  Shepard/Wolf mixes. She's breed and sell them.
Oh, I thought you meant you bred both breeds....Is this kind of like who's on first....lol

Would you believe that skit still totally cracks me up? Into hysterics. I love Costello! (sorry for the hijack, Dex) The first time that I saw it was in history of broadcasting class in college.

We have both had pets in the past and loved them dearly but they are a lot of responsibility.  The most recent was a part wolf that we rescued from a very bad situation.  He was in such poor health he didn't even have any eye lashes and his neck was raw from the choker chain being around his neck and the tips of his ears were raw where flies had been biting him.  He was funny though.  When we would take him to the vet he was very passive and kept his head lowered but here he was in his domain with his pack so to speak and he was king of this castle and our protector head held high and very proud.
He sounds like a wonderful dog. It seems like the ones that have been abused, are really the most docile, and loving animals. Considering what they've been through, they really don't seem bitter so to speak. Some of them do become aggressive, but most are sooo happy to have a decent home, that they provide great companionship.

awwww thankfully he found such a loving home.

I'm watching animal planet right now and they're talking about the cat shows, similar to dog shows, but for cats and one man has 30 cats. He says that he uses two hours in the morning to feed, water and clean and then when he gets home from work 3 to 4 hours doing the same and grooming the cats. I'm happy that he loves the cats so much, but can one person give 30 cats enough attention? Then again, cats are very independent and really don't ask for a lot, but when they want it ... they want it. That's been my experience anyway.

When I had a Rottie and had her in obedience class, there was a lady who bred German Shepherds and Timber Wolves. Beautiful dogs, but she had to train away from the rest of us. If one of us accidentally stepped in what her two dogs considered "their space" they'd growl a low growl and prepare to defend. I'd hate to see what would happen if we ran at her. :spooked:
I've got a bunch of cats, and they are very expensive, and time consuming. You just do the best you can on the attention thing. I spread the love pretty good. This morning when Hubby got home he says "I hate to tell you this, but one of the cats got hit on the road last night." So, we got the shovel and walked down to get her. Whoever hit her must have been flying. We've had them get hit before, but this was the goriest mess we've had. Not a single cat followed us down the road. Not one of them left the deck. Hubby said, he thought they knew what happened, before we ever brought her in to the yard. Not a single cat budged. They know they're not suppose to go out of the yard. Maybe, this will teach them a lesson? Probably not but it would be nice.

Max is doing very well now. Infact, when it gets warm enough, he will be joining the outside cats. I've got him with some other kittens his age, so they will be a little gang. Kittens against the world!!!! He's ornery as all get out, so I don't think he'll have any problems, with the bigger cats.

Max had his first day outside today. My boy is growing up.  :'( He was pretty scared. He kept low to the ground, and mostly hid behind things. He was out for several hours, and he was ready to come back in. It didn't help his fear when the tom cats started fighting. We had about 5 fights between the toms today. Buddy my oldest cat got jumped twice, and we was squealing and bawling ,and couldn't get away. He's 9 and he really shows his age. I'm not sure how he got involved in the first place, because he's normally docile.

At one point Hubby, and I had to go out, and break it up. This badass stray tom we named Slim Shady, jumped on poor old Buddy, and wouldn't let loose of him. The other cats were running around like screaming banshees, and fur was flying everywhere. Hubby, picked up a long piece of the eavespout. and punted Slim like a football. It wasn't hard enough to hurt him, but I think being airborne scared the living daylights outta him LMAO!!! Things calmed down REAL fast after that. There were no injuries from what I could tell, so that was cool. I don't think old Buddy is feeling too froggy though. He laid on the deck all day after that. Poor old guy. That damn Slim is gonna write a check, his ass can't cash one of these days.
