Anybody in??  Hard to believe we're into ANOTHER season...Simon really needs to find some new lines, what do ya say???

"That's very cabaret"...

"Very ordinary...could find you in any love boat lounge"

"Sounds like a wedding singa..."

Regardless, has anyone caught your eye yet...kinda early in the game??

Honestly I haven't said that anyone sticks out except for the bad ones.  I was a bit surprised that the girl who said that Carrie Underwood looks like her actually had a voice.  I figured since she was so full of herself, she would be bad!
Take time to smell the roses.

Good point, Henry. We'll have more to chat about once they get to Hollywood & knock it down to the top 20.

Sunny

So now we're down to the top 24!!!

Anyone sticking out as a fave yet???

I have a few on the top of my list already...David Archleta (17 year-old, Salt Lake City, UT); Amanda Overmyer (23 year-old rocker, Mulberry, IN); Brooke White (24 year-old, folk singer, Van Nuys, CA); and   Michael Johns (29 yr-old Australian from Los Angeles).

I think I might even follow the trail this year.

Some very talented people.

Couple of drama queens.

Now is when it really gets good.

I just hope that Josiah kid didn't get too let down. He didn't appear to be too mentally strong. :-\

I'd say you've about got it pegged. Those are pretty much my favorites -- very diverse styles, too.

Man, this is going to be tough to select. I think that as it boils out, the singer with the favorite "style" of singing that will appeal to the largest segment of the audience, will win. The talent seems to be fairly equal, and, barring  some mega error or breakthrough that we haven't seen yet, it will remain an even-steven factor.

Josiah, I hate to say, seems to have a self-destruct button that he hits periodically in his life, apparently at the most inopportune times for him. Hope he heals up ok.

Well said, ftw.

It will be quite interesting to see how versatile these picks can be, too...

May be a bit more difficult for Amanda to stray from the Janis Joplin/Joan Jett rocker style due to the gruffness in her voice; but Chris Daughtry managed it rather well in season 5.

Should be fun to watch!

Yeah, I felt for the little fella too........he wasn't good enough for the crowd he was in......but, I wish they would have sent him through for one more chance to prove himself.........i kinda liked the goofy Governor kid with the glasses........he really had a good voice...it would have been neat to see him develop a little further...

I liked the goofy Governor kid too....but I think we might see him again on another season.

Oooh....can't wait until tonight, to see the girls!!!!! But, adding commentary from last night's show...

List of potentials that will go home first from the guys:

Jason Yeager
Luke Menard

Secondary list of guys that will be eliminated:

Garrett Haley
Chikezie(?)

Still on top of my list:

1. David Archuleta
2. Michael Johns

AND!!!

Adding this guy who did not gain much coverage during the audition phase. LOVED HIM LAST NIGHT!!

He's very "Jack Johnson"..."Paul Simon"...folk-but-modern (and adorable, minus the dreads):
