It's another beautiful day here. It's sunny and 77*. The projected high is 80*,so we're just about there already. I think it will be warmer than 80*. It looks like we have a chance for isolated thunderstorms tomorrow. We really could use some rain.  :yes:

Sunny and 79 here with no rain in site.  Looks like we water the garden and flowers tonight.

92 where I live, but here in the city it's 75 degrees. The animals are sweatin' today. :yes: I gave them extra water today w/ice in it so that it would stay chilly for a while and be refreshing. I left all the fans on high and left the patio door open so they can lay out there in the shade. Hopefully, they'll be okay. I think so, the 116 degree day didn't phase them, this should feel like a cold snap to them. :biggrin:

* gulp * Did you say 116*?  :spooked: Heat like that would kill Pugsly, after being out in it 5 minutes. He can't take the heat at all. Your pets are probably well adjusted to the climate there. One thing to remember.... if you ever see your kitten start panting, get it cooled off as soon as possible. The only time a cat pants is if it is in extreme heat distress. They can stroke out pretty easy. I've seen a few of my outside cats pant, and I try to get them to a shady area, and wet them down with paper towels soaked in luke warm water. NOT COLD WATER... That could send them into shock.  :spooked:

went camping over the weekend.  Rained like hell on Saturday afternoon....then turned chilly and was okay. Sunday dawned a very pretty morning....but by 2 it was storming and we were stuck in the tent for about an hour.  Then around 7p.m. another even harder storm hit us...we were in the middle of eating supper.  Had to move it to the tent once more....then it rained about 4 this morning.  Glad to finally be home....no rain here....

Well, it's 8:17 pm, and the temperature is 73*. It was another beautiful day. We have rain in the forecast for tomorrow. The rest of the week the temps are supposed to be in the 90's.  :spooked:

Yep, but we're back down to normal temps of upper 70's and low to mid 60's at night. I hope it stays that way.

Two words hot and muggy. When I walk out the door I can't breathe.  :spooked: The temperature is a muggy 83*. We have storms moving in tonight, and through tomorrow.  :smile:

Hot muggy and cloudy. The skies have threatened rain all day. We have a flash flood watch until midnight, but it doesn't look like it's gonna rain. Right now the temperature is a muggy 75*. Just waitin' for the storms to roll in.  :biggrin:

We had a pretty good storm here while ago and the temp dropped down to tolerable levels.  Our garden and flowers got a good drink finally.  ;D
