The Weather in Your Neck of the Woods

Send some down this way.  We are in bad need of rain. 

I'd love to send you some of ours. I'm on flexeril and percocet because of all the rain here. Last weekend we had 8 inches over 3 days. Did you know that adrenalin makes you very strong but also very stupid? When I saw the water coming under the basement door, I ran out and starting hauling the sandbags left over from Isabelle. I wasn't very careful about lifting.

Oh my, Bo D that's awful.  I spoke w/a young lady from the DC area last week. She works in DC, but lives in Maryland. Anyway, she mentioned the rain and said that it had been raining for a week at that point.  Personally, I think sometimes rain for long periods of time makes me achy anyway...

Of course, I don't have to deal with that anymore.

We're getting a sprinkle today, but it's so dry outside that it won't even touch the need we have for rain. Supposedly later it's going to be in the low 70's. I'm just glad the 100 days are over. I said it during the last spell, but that's very unusual for here.

If you know of a chiropractor where you are you might get some Bio Freeze.  Its like Icy Hot but works much better.  That might also give you some relief.  I have a lot of back trouble from doing stupid stuff and I use it a lot.

Well, it's been cloudy, and overcast all day here. We have rain, and possible storms on the way. It's 4:08 pm,and the temperature is 64*. I just hope it clears off by the weekend. I plan on grilling out a lot, and possibly getting my garden and flowers planted.

It was really nice here today.  Got a lot of stuff done outside in preparation for this weekend.  Still have lots to do because I like the yard to look nice when we put the flags out which we plan to do I just hope we can get everything done.  All that rain we had for a while and some other things put us waaaay behind.

I have on a sweat suit and I'm still shivering. LOL When I moved here, I made fun of people doing exactly what I'm doing now. I'm SO spoiled, I don't think I'll ever be able to move to a cooler climate.

We had heavy rain this morning. It has been cloudy and overcast all day here. We had low 60's for highs. It's suppose to be warm ,and sunny tomorrow, but the rain is coming back on Sunday. I hope the weather is good for the Indy 500 on Sunday. I'm rooting for Danica!!!!!  Right now, it's 56* and sunny.

Well, it started out cloudy and cool this morning, but now it's sunny and windy. The temperature is 80*. We have a flood watch out tonight through tomorrow night. We could get up to 3 inches of rain.  We sure in the heck don't need it.

73 and sunny here at the moment but we're supposed to get some rain later tonight.

It's a nice day here. It's sunny but extremely windy. Right now it's 1:53 pm, and the temperature is 80*. They took the flood watch out of the forecast. We are suppose to have scattered thunderstorms though. I can live with that..... Iowa got hit hard last night with tornadoes, and had at least 6 deaths. I feel very fortunate that we only had wind.
