We didn't have a car but were walking distance from the bus stops and the plows were always out attacking the snow and salting the roads so people could get out.

It doesn't sound strange at all. I miss it too. :yes: I miss rain storms too. We get rain, but none of the hard rain thunder and lightening storms. I totally understand!  Where are you originally from?

Well, it's 10:48 pm. The temperature is 31* we have high winds and ice. The wind is 20 mph, and the ice is slamming into the house. When you turn the volume down on the appliances, you can really hear it smacking the house. GOOD GRIEF!!!!  :spooked:  Oh crap... it just dropped 2 degrees while I was posting this.  :confused: WTH??  :confused: Man, I'm sick of this crap every weekend.  :rolleyes: The advisory has downgraded a little though. Now, we're only suppose to get 5 inches or more.  :rolleyes: GOOD TIMES!!

Well, it's Sunday and it's 10:56 am. The temperature is a bone chilling 17*. The wind is 17 mph. We now have a high wind advisory. Last night's storm produced heavy ice accumulations, and we only got about a 1/2 an inch of snow. So, the majority missed us.  :sofa: We do have a lot of blowing and drifting snow. Pugsly had to bust through a foot tall snow drift when I put him out this morning LMAO!!! He stared at it for a minute, and then he just crashed through it head on. I thought I would die laughing.  :rotfl: :rotfl:  :tree:  :santa:  :tree:

It was about the same here today. It was pretty, but I think I've gotten used to it. It still feels like Christmas, although I wouldn't exactly mind snow. It's 56 now.
