If it's cold you can set the food outside, priorities are priorities. The computer must come FIRST.

Actually, that reminds me of my time in the dorms at college. Those little fridges just wouldn't hold very much beer. We used to sit it out on the ledge and fire escape to keep it cold in the winter.

Ah..winter time, youth and beer. My friends and I would go drinking in the city park. In the winter it was best, the beer would stay cold. The city park is up in the rich part of town and has way too many buzz kill cops patrolling it so we would climb a tree, set in it and hide and drink.

I am trying to recall the cheap bottled beer we would drag all over creation by the cases. Rhinelander? It was something like that. Wrangling bottled beer about in the ice and snow can be unruly. If it gets too cold, it breaks, the bottles bust like water balloons when you drop them all over your friend's parent's back porch like I did one night.
And thus I clothe my naked villainy
With old odd ends, stol'n forth of holy writ;
And seem a saint, when most I play the devil.

We're getting hit right now.  :yes: Ice pellets and freezing rain at the same time. It's 27* and the wind is blowin' at 12 mph,and it feels like 16*.  The wind is supposed to rise to 35 mph,and the ice is supposed to turn to just rain this evening. Ha, we'll see if that happens.  :rolleyes:

Don't know if we're gonna get it or not.  One time they say we are and then the next time we're not.... :think:

I don't think they have a clue. The wind just picked up here. The radar shows us as having snow, but we're still getting ice.   :cold:

Out my window the trees look like they are partially made of glass and are moving like it too. Some  of them are starting to droop under the weight, looking like tired creatures, weary and sad. The whole state is blanketed by this icy cold, chillingly wet blast of Jack Frost's breath and it doesn't look like he's done yet. With any luck, this will pass during the day and not have the colder night to add it's chill to the foray.

Looks like the rain is just about to move into my county....ugh....With the temp hanging at 30* it could be either rain or snow I guess.  The thing that worries me is that PH done his snow dance and I remember what happened last year when he did that... :eek:

I just looked out the window, and everything is a sheet of ice. I'm glad we're in for the weekend. It is sooo nasty out there. :no:
