for at least 3 days in a row these kids pelted my garage with stones.  i watched from an upstairs bedroom and recorded the damage.  i cannot believe the things that kids do these days to entertain themselves.

Ya know, that little punk has got some nerve. Doing that in broad daylight. Jesum Crow!!!  :spooked: When I used to live in town, we had a couple of boys that lived next door, and they did crap like that. One time they made the mistake, of hitting my big dog Mugsy with a stick, he broke his (log chain) and ran them back to their own yard. He didn't hurt them. The look on their faces was priceless.  :rotfl: Needless to say, they never bothered Mugsy again. IMO, People need to teach their kids to treat animals with respect.

one theory is that they live in the projects and have nothing.  they don't want anyone else to have anything either.  they've never learned to respect the belongings of others since they don't have anything of their own.

i think that is a poor excuse.

i've found some of their rocks on my roof and on my porch near my windows.  i suspect when they get bored with my garage they'll bust out my windows next.

and hitting a dog is just plain wrong.  i'm glad your pooch taught those kids a lesson.

Ya know it's bad to say, but I think it has a lot to do with upbringing. If kids aren't taught to be respectful of others, and others belongings, they really don't know any better. Kids imitate the actions they see. What is really kind of sad,is the fact that some of the parents act like that. Children are like clay, they have to be molded the right way. If parents set a bad example, then the kids follow that example. I hope they don't move on to throwing stuff at your house. I would be very careful, if you involve the law, or the kids parents. If  they do live in the projects, you might have to worry about serious retribution. Be very, very careful.

i have considered the retribution angle.  i have decided they are more than fortunate that i called the police and i didn't just walk outside and handle it the only way i know how.  if they want to get into a p!ssing contest with me, then great.  i can easily make hell of someone's everyday life.

there is the legal way and then there is my way--however they want to play it.

i'm being far more passive than i am used to to begin with.  i don't like ppl messing with me.

Want me to take care of them for you?

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

lol.... e!

i must try to remind myself that they are 8th graders... (although it is still tempting... lol...)

Ummm..... Hey guys I think this is getting political. This thread is about kids throwing rocks at ~vxn's~ house. We kind of got off topic on the dog attacking people thing anyway. We all need to cool our jets.  Can you tell I'm not much of a debater?

Chaos is the perfect breeding ground for the infinitely possible.

And yes, you have good hips.
