I'm taking Lil BEG out for a nice dinner for keeping her head on her shoulders the 1st six weeks of school and getting all A's.

I live in Indiana so here's a list of choices:

Ruth's Crist (sp?) (she a steak & potato gal)
Melting Pot (a fondue restaurant we both like)
Benihana (another favorite of ours)

Do you have any other suggestions? Please help me out.  :help:

Buca di Beppo. There's one behind Castleton Mall, and theres another one downtown. Both are great, but I am partial to the downtown one.

I'm really reaching here because I have never been even remotely close to Indiana...and maybe this would be more appropriate for a lunch date rather than a dinner night out...it just seems like a neat activity to do with a pre-teen/teen. There are places down here that offer light fare/novelty drinks & a variety of activities, such as making a pottery piece or artistic creation that you get to take home with you.

Check it out -- maybe there's something similar in your area?:

ruth's chris has great steaks. st. elmo's is just around the corner and is a little pricier but the chance of seeing some local celebs is greater. shula's is also a decent place in the westin but damn pricey.

St. Elmos is a fun place, and excellent food, and you get the downtown experince, go hang at the mall for a spell...
