How ironic...looks like 'congrats' are in order. He's beautiful! Love the white patch!

Welcome to the Parker family, Charlie! :smitten:

Did I miss Charlie's pictures? :'(

Sunny

Nope! He's right here!

He's bigger than I recalled....and they cleaned him up, too.  He paces....like an animal who's been in a kennel most of his life...DOB  8/27/04....  Can You tell I love animals?

Huge nose....and he moves like a bear...just smaller steps than you'd think for a dog his size....kennel thing again...he keeps going round and round this house...has laid down a bit...likes carpet, I think...

Same old bad pictures I take....man....hopefully, it's the camera and not the operator, but I'm not holding my breath on that...

He's so adorable. I love him. I bet he already knows how lucky he was, because now he has found love for the rest of his life. What a cutie! So, you've already picked him up?

I was wondering if everyone slept last night? New doggy & new environment -- with FREEDOM!

Cookie Parker

Yes, thanks for asking.  Hubby got him yesterday.  And he's a bit overwhelmed...He has not had opportunity to explore outside much, so he doesn't sniff around nor own the yard yet...but he woke me up twice to go outside...what more could you want?  Also, he's a big sweetie...HUGE, and wants to keep front paws on your knees...not a licker nor a jumper....works for us!!!  And he got me out walking in the morning like Hawkeye and I used to do....excpet he's not really adept on walking well; he likes to circle...which is good arm exercise....cuz if you don't move that arm to keep the leash from coming up behind you, you WILL spin a circle....LOL!!!

Loves his head held and your forehaed on his...and he has toys out the wahzooo...

and, uh, I just noticed..this is WAY more information than anyone wanted to know....sorry....can you tell I adore him?

Cookie you go right ahead and brag, he looks adorable. Do I see lab in him? Whats his mix?

Sounds to me you made the perfect choice.........Congrats!!!!!!!!

Cookie Parker

He is the perfect choice for us...as far as we can discern, he's lab and coonhound mix...docile and yet playful...had a chance to interact with grandson..sniffed him...Charlie's head is taller than Grandson's...and then just left him alone....not mean streak we've found so far....

tomorrow night is the big test...we are watching our daughter's chocolate lab female...she's been our baby girl for over a year...I predict Charlie will play and ignore...and Emma scoots into bed with grandma....LOL!!!!
