Fatcats Mom

Sunny that is so sweet.....I applaud you!

Cookie Parker

Thank you Sunny.  And FatCat'sMom, Ms Mojo, Sunny,  and Gryphon, I understood from Magistrate and Red Haired LIttle Girl you asked if I arrived safely.

I DID IT!!!!!  Lower New River.....2 Class-5 rapids....4 Class-4 Rapids, 4 Class-3 rapids and 2 Class-2 rapids...which meant I could relax inbetween!!

Guys, we are SO going to get a group together to do that next year!!!!  I'm even going to get some brothers and sisters involved.  It is SO great...FatCat'sMom, I KNOW you would love this!!!

AND I climbed a bank (and had an epiphany of the need to serious drop 40 pounds) and saw a waterfall from a mountain spring...even drank from it...the BEST water ever....and saw the Caymore (sp?  sorry, am SO tired) mines of yesteryear and my guide even had a company script to show me....yeah, I was the only paying customer on the trip...so this young guide, 29, asked his brother 21 and his friend to come on along to help with the paddling.

Did not jump from the cliff.  Never found my land legs when I got out of the raft for shore.  It was the only time I fell in the water...going from the raft to the shore or shore to raft....LOL!!!

Did the West Virginia surf three times....that's when you head on into an hydraulic wave and kinda surf....did great the 1st time, with the exception of almost drowning from the waves, second time, we got it sideways and I was nigh in the water.....so he pushed away...3rd time, piece of cake.

Very last Class-4 I was kneeling in the front and watching the waves come on in!!!

Oh, and I never fell in once!!!!  Although I think the youngsters were kinda hoping I would...LOL!!!!

The trip down was VERY scary for a person with a fear of heights...and the bus driver...well, he had his comments and jokes and I could tell LOVED scaring the old lady as much as the young 'uns did...LOL!!!

It was the SECOND greatest adventure for me.....the FIRST was seeing Magistrate, Little Red Haired Girl and their family.  They are such a nice and neat couple and the epitome of the great host and hostess.  Very entertaining and yes, they really are that much in love...and that sweet to each other...it was great!

And guys, you should see the plans and out outlays of the house...that's their job to show you, but I may have a picture for you.....anyway, Little Red Haired Girl is the MOST creative and has such a flair for color and design...and Magistrate is quite the carpenter and has put together the most perfect time, wood and brick design....my stars....the pictures do NOT do it justice.  The lamp shade they have are all SO unique and beautiful!!! beyond expression...and they are so different and yet it coordinates nicely thoughtout the house.  People with that talent amaze me....

Breakfast was great!  Magistrate can serve up quite the omellette, and the fried potatoes and biscuits and Little Red Haired Girl cut up a tomatoe from their garden...quite delicious....but I'm partial to West Virginia tomatoes.....

And Magistrate is a real race car driver...has been in a NASCAR division and I got to see the CD of his run at South Boston Track in Virginia in a Late Model WHICH Little Red Haired Girl won for him on a radio show!!!  He is really impressive!!!!  Even the guys at the track thought so but as a NASCAR observer for beau coup years, I can tell...he found the groove and cranked that baby to over 100 mph...YIKES!!!!!!

It was SUCH a huge adventure and such a GREAT time doing this...this was MUCH better than JULY....and this will certainly be the impetus upon which I go ahead and do much more yoga and exercising....truly, I CANNOT comfortably bend....heck...breathe!!!  LOL!!!  Not really...but I did use muscles not normally used.

Got down to Princeton and hope the pictures turned out...I finally found a train museum...that will have its grand opening on the 30th....LOL!!!  You would NOT think finding a train museum in West Virginia would be that hard!!!!  Course, the day I visited the Coal House in Williamson, it was closed because the guy had a doctor's appointment...NEXT YEAR I AM STOPPING IN MOST EVERY TOWN TO SEE IF THEY HAVE A TRAIN MUSEUM!!!  LOL!!

For all my West Virginia friends....I know God is the Happiest in West Virginia........I've been there...

For everyone else..thanks for your inquiries and be sure to stop by and offer some suggestions on exercises and yoga, and meditation and relaxation...and plan the trip next year with us....I'm going to hope to see many of you there!!!!!

It will truly awaken an inner awareness of yourself....and booster your self esteem once you have a chance to reflect on what you've done!!!!!
