Did anybody watch Chris Matthews on Jay Leno a couple of nights ago?

I did, and he made me sick to my stomach, the "misinformation" that he spewed....

Here is a very good piece, by David Limbaugh that says alot about our media today, and Chris Matthews....

if you get the time, read it....I think we can have a good topic on this one... ;) :)

Someone from the media spreading misinformation?  Nooooo.  I just don't buy it.  David Limbaugh.  Is he Rush's love child or something.

Hey IYT!!..how ya doin... :)

it is rush's bro....

ya, know, back several years ago, the journalist in the media, was SUPPOSED to be un-biased...and simply report the news...and I'm not picking on the left or the right..........both attack anymore....it is a bloodbath on politics ALL THE TIME....which is getting most people not to even want ot be involved anymore....

I thought Chris Matthews was supposed to be a journalist...

To me, misinformation is not as bad as incomplete information.  I wouldn't expect Limbaugh's bro to be objective either (even though I know nothing about him), but at least if misinformation is out there, in this age of information, someone will likely refute it.  Is there a link to the Leno segment?  I couldn't find it on YouTube.

Oh, it's Friday, my portfolio is kickin' arse, the British Open is this weekend, football's about to be back...I'm doin' pretty well.

Chris Matthews is a journalist in the same league that Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh are "journalists."  They are all commentators.

David's drug-addled big brother has been spreading misinformation for years.

So are we switching from the media to politicians?  Of course politicians spread misinfo...it's 99% of their job.  It's basically come to whatever you see on TV, believe the opposite (well maybe not quite that bad).

Are you ready to cite examples? I'm assuming you're referring to global warming which isn't true (in your mind) because you don't want to believe that it is.  That doesn't mean that he's giving misinformation. His campaign against global warming is supported by scientific fact, whether you want to believe it or not. The fact you don't believe it doesn't make it "misinformation".

IYT has a point as well, we were talking media, but you can't defend Rush because you know he's a spin master. That is also a proven fact.
