Sandy Eggo

It's not "new", but I just watched it on Demand early preview...

The Illusionist w/Ed Norton and Jessica Biel. I really enjoyed it. It's a love story, but has an awesome twist. I'd give it 4 out of 5 Piya points.

Another movie that's not a 'new release'...but, I'm WAYYYY behind in the movie watching arena.

I found this to be a cute & funny flick with Uma Thurman & Meryl Streep:

Prime (2005)

Plot Outline: A career driven professional from Manhattan (Thurman) who is wooed by a young painter, who also happens to be the son of her psychoanalyst (Streep).

Should be good for a laugh or two. ;D

Great--that's the kind of input I'm looking for!

Keep 'em coming folks!

And thanks!

Saw "The Last King of Scotland" with Forest Whitaker the other day.  About the last days of Idi Amin.
EXCELLENT movie.  A tad on the violent side but Whitaker deserved the Oscar.
Good flick!

Lil BEG and I watched 'Freedom Writers' this weekend. It stars Hillary Swank with co-star Patrick Dempsey. She thought it was great because she can see where all the anger and hate begins and why there are so many fights at Anderson High School. She really liked it becuase it shows that it can be overcome - the hatred that is. She watched it Sat & Sun and then took it to her dad's last night.
I think it's a must see for all at-risk, urban school kids.

We saw 'Resurrecting the Champ' this past weekend. It was much better than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised. The movie stars Josh Harnett and Samuel L Jackson. It's a movie based on a true story involving a boxer & a journalist.

I just saw The Pursuit of Happyness last night.
Great movie!

Last night we saw 'Blade of Glory'.  http://www.bladesofglorymovie.com/
It was one of those brain-less, silly movies and if that's what you're in the mood for, it's a perfect.
I liked it more than I thought I would, plus it's only 93 mins.
