Well, you know my tolerance is pretty high now so the Oxy may do nothing for me as well!  Just my luck, eh?

But when it does work, it doesn't make me spaz like you--it puts me DOWN!!!

Usually pain killers do have a calming affect. Codeine is like speed to me. Add the Dew and POW,BAM,I'm over the moon. I'm a very hyper person anyway. I'm always in motion. I never stop until I fall asleep, and I don't sleep very much anyway. I just can't be still LOL!!!! It's like a car stuck in high gear. Total silence drives me up the wall. I'm messed up I know.  :rolleyes:  :biggrin:

Well, I'm like that too--guess that's why painkillers feel so weird to me ... but it ain't gonna stop me from taking them, by gum!   :eek: :biggrin:

WOO HOO THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!!!   :salute:

Went in to see my oncologist for my normal 3-week visit plus chemo today.  I complained about the severe muscle and bone pain that the current chemo medicine is doing to me and after reviewing my blood work and physical exam, he is going to give me a new chemo medicine in one big dose.

What does this mean?

Well, it means tomorrow will be my FINAL chemo treatment...........

I'M DONE, BITCHES!!  Ha, ha, ha, --WOO HOO!

I am sooooo friggin excited and relieved--This means I may have hair by Christmas! 

Only setback is that they really have to load me up with steroids to fight the chances of infection since this new medicine will really tax my bone marrow.  It is imperative that I don't get sick--a fever could put me in the hospital!  So I have to stay away from people for a while but that should be easy since I really don't like anyone anyhow!

So, that is the update .... then it's off to round two; radiation.:balloon:

I am having some problems sleeping at the moment but if that is all I gotta complain about--big whoop!

We will see how I feel later in the day and if no big issues arrive-(hurling, feeling like I'm dragging or just plain feeling like crap) I may actually do a naked happy dance on my front lawn!

Lucky for you guys, I don't have a webcam   :biggrin:
