I'm the big 40--but everyone says I look and act much younger--(YOU THINK?  LOL)

I dunno--it's quite a challenge dealing with the public cuz for every nice person you get you get about 12 asswipes and they are the ones that wear your patience!

You seem much younger than 40. But, you have the wisdom of an old soul.  :smile: Most of my customers are pretty nice. I think a lot of it is the image that one projects. I'm a jovial upbeat fool at work, and the customers seem to like it. I'm quiet and withdrawn at home. I liken my job, to going on stage everyday. You have to be in a good mood and friendly. You always have to be "on" so to speak. The world away from home is a stage, and I play my role.  :yes:

I talked with his stepdad tonight.  It sounds like this recovery was a lot longer than the last.  However the doctor is much more confident that his cancer is gone than the last time.  Time will tell I guess.

Wow, I'm quite sure the citizens of Georgia, can sleep much safer tonight.  :smile:  Every case is different on recovery time. He's been through a lot. I hope he continues to feel better.  :yes:

Well, had my fourth treatment yesterday.  My SIL came with me.  She was impressed with all the docs and nurses.  Considering that she worked at UCLA medical center for over 20 years, that's saying something!  LOL
It wasn't bad.  I feel a little groggy but no nausea.  Maybe my body is getting used to this crap!
Only four more treatments to go--WOO HOO!   :ouch:

SIL is a doll.  I think she's a little disappointed that I'm not down for the count like I was last time, though.  I think she really wanted to feel needed.  Oh well--SORRY!  I've certainly enjoyed the company, though.  And I did try to get her to rearrange my kitchen cupboards--she didn't fall for that one; smart girl--LOL!

Me Too!  Next chemo treatment is on the 10th -- they're using a new chemo medicine that is not supposed to be so hard on me--HOORAY!
Also, they won't be using as many steroids so maybe I'll lose some fat.  The damned steroids really pack on the pounds--even if you don't eat!  I was beginning to think that if I started lifting some serious weight that I'd look like Ah-Nold and start kicking some ass--LOL
Maybe I'll kick his--Gov. of CA would look great on my resume    :biggrin:
