I am soooooooooo enjoying the cooler weather--although it's supposed to get up to 70 today --and I am really getting some use out of my wigs--finally.

The dogs get a tad frightened when they see me in one of them--guess they're so used to my bald head!

:rotfl: Dogs are funny that way. My cats get scared of me when I put on my work uniform LOL!!! When I come home they eat me up. I think it's because I smell like I've been swimming in fried chicken.  :shrk: In real life that shark chasing me, would actually be a deranged Rooster.  :spooked:

~Giggle~  You kill me, girl!

My SIL bought me one of those tin, painted roosters from some home and garden place.  I was like, oh great, now I have to remember to bring this ugly-ass rooster out every time she comes to visit!

Maybe I'll send it to you   :icon_twisted:

LOL!!!!My kitchen has a Rooster theme.  Have you ever been attacked by a rooster? It happened to me repeatedly when I was a child. When time when I was 8, I bent over in the yard to pick something up. I saw a flash of white, and a humongous rooster was approaching me to attack.  :spooked: I didn't even have time to react, it jumped on the back of my legs, and dug it's spurs into my heels. Of course pandemonium broke out, I took off running with it still clutching my legs LOL!!! When I took off running, our 10 dogs took off behind us.  :spooked: So, I'm running up, and down a hill, screaming, with a rooster attached to my legs, and 10 dogs chasing behind. Finally, my Mom looked out the window, and saw the chaos, and alerted Dad, and they came running out with a broom, and a bucket of water, and got the crazed thing off of me LMAO!!!! I got, scratched up a little.  Dad did away with him as soon as he could catch him. My sister, and I couldn't play outside for 2 days, and Dad finally got him. Needless to say he was great fried chicken LMAO!!!!

Yeah, like Wild Kingdom out here--I never know what I'm gonna come to find in the front yard or the driveway--one Spring there was a bull blocking me from my carport--and one night a donkey was eating the freshly cut grass on my front lawn--hubby didn't believe me til he saw the "droppings" the next day--LOL

Then there's the snakes and the gators--the coyotes and the bobcats--LORDY  it neva ends!

I've got a clan of Opossums that come, and eat on the deck with the cats. The first time I saw one at the food pan, I almost shit my pants.  :spooked: I'd never seen one up close. I kind of let out this muffled scream.  :o  Man, that opossum freaked out, and jumped up and the food pan went flying through the air, the cat food flew everywhere, and the opossum bolted, and rolled off the end of the deck, with a thud. It was all kinds of nuts.  :spooked: Now, we're so used to each other, they're not scared of me, and I'm not scared of them. They really are docile creatures. The cats just love them. They eat out of the dishes together.

Got a great story ..........

I have a standing lunch date with a girlfriend every Friday and this past Friday we decided to dine at O'Charleys.

She got there early and the place was packed so we had one of those beepers that they give you to let ya know when your table is ready.

Well, in the meantime we talked and exchanged presents and I noticed a group of 3 teen girls and 2 older ladies over in the corner of the foyer.  The teens were giggling and pointing in our direction and I asked my friend if I was paranoid or were these girls laughing at me?
She said I wasn't paranoid and they either laughing at her or me.  So, in my normal Tallulah style I walked over to them.

I asked them if I could help them with anything.  And one of the teens said, "Well, you need help with that wig you're wearing!"
OH NO SHE DINNT!!
Well, I spent a lot of time styling the wig, cutting the bangs and spraying it just right and I thought it looked very fly---so I went off.......

I whipped the wig off my head and replied, "Well what is your suggestion?  This is called chemo, baby--would you like to see my fake tit and tell me if you approve?"

By that time my friend was covering her face with her purse and one of the older ladies was in the face of the teens saying, "Whaddyou say to her?  Whaddyou do?"

I simply sashayed to the front of the line and loudly asked "Is the table ready for the cancer patient yet?"

We were seated immediately--LOL

So yes, I can say that I have successfully pulled the Cancer Card
