Take a few moments out of your hectic schedules to stop and ponder how magnificent you are.

Take a moment to do a random act of kindness. I am certain it will make you feel just a good as the person recieving the act of kindness.

Take a moment to listen to a child tell a story. Really listen to that child, you'd be amazed how they have it all figured out in their tiny little heads. Smiler

Take a moment to smile at a stranger, you never know, it may be the only smile they recieve all day long.

If married, take a moment to look at your spouse without their knowledge and let yourself become amazed with them all over again.

And last but not least, enjoy our full moon tonight. Take a moment to look up at the beautiful night sky tonight and become mezmerized in the awe of how beautiful it is and how it shines brightly over everyone you love, all over this earth.

These things only take a few moments out of your day but the positive effects it has on your soul could add years to your life.

What do you do traditionally to celebrate Samhain?  I know it's not with the boring pumpkins.......what do witches do to celebrate?

We all celebrate differently depending on what the meaning is to us. To me, it means a time to reconnect with all my ancestors who have gone before me. All the loved one's I have lost and I have lost a few this past year so it is especially emotional for me this year.

I like to cook most evenings but on this special evening, with the veil between the spirit world and ours being the thinnest, I like to prepare a really nice dinner and set an extra place at my table for all who have gone before me.

Pay close attention on this day. You will recieve signs and messages everywhere!!

Daily dose for october 7

Take a look around today!!

Look at all the beautiful changing colors on the trees and how the fallen leaves cover the ground in an array of color.

Look up at the beautiful autumn sky and how clear and bright it is.

Look how the sun seems to "kiss" the world around us today.

Take a que from your kitties today and lounge around in a ray of sun, just soaking it all up while lazily daydreaming.

Look at your children and how the sun seems to dance on their shoulders and how it makes their eyes sparkle with wonderment.

Look at your significant other and how they seem to have a bounce in their step , a sway in their hips, and how all the different brilliant colors of their hair stand out in the sunshine.

Pay attention to how your doggies try different tricks to get you to take them for a walk on this beautiful day.

Take a moment to stop, look and listen to the autumn day. Close your eyes and breathe in the different smells while the sun carresses your face.

Well, would ya look at that? Is that a beautiful smile I see creeping across your face? Let it shine for everyone to see and have a Blessed day!!

Please focus on all positive things today. Great memories and wonderful people who have touched your lives.
Hug your family and tell them how much they are loved.
Call your friends and tell them how much they have enhanced your life and by all means, the next time you see them, HUG THEM TIGHTLY without feeling awkward. After all, our friends are the family we chose for ourselves.
Try to face each day with an open heart and love the one's you care about, with an unconditional devotion.
The best advice I can give today is follow your instincts and gut feelings. If something tells you not to do something, don't do it. Your intuition is your body's warning mechanism and is not to be taken lightly.
Scotty didn't want to go to Bloomington that weekend. He had a bad feeling about it and we tried to convince him to stay in town and have a get together so all the kids could play.
He had a bad feeling but was afraid if he turned down the overtime, he would lose his job. Instead he lost his life and now his daughter must only know her father from pictures and stories.
One thing is for sure, I know my gramma will look after Scotty, and help him to do whatever work is meant for him because she loved him dearly and he thought the world of her.
