Well, since our place is still under construction,  i'll show you what Magistrate did at my sister's house last summer....

She is a fiesta ware collector, so took some of her favorite pieces to the tile store and ordered tile to match.  They were made in Spain, and it worked up to be just AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

I'll have to add a picture of my husband's handy tile work...he finished our floor yesterday! Just needs to do the trim work now.

MsM...I see a theme developing for you. I could create your dream house pretty easily (on paper at least) with what youve posted here.

I wonder if the homes we are drawn to is, sort of like a personality indicator like.... likes open spaces = enjoys freedom....type thing.

thats an intersting thought...

I like very traditional things generally speaking (though my SC house is really more Pottery Barn looking and my WV house is more...well, early everything"
