What are some of your favorites and why? I WAS partial to A and E's Flip that House, but since they arent doing any new shows with the South Carolina crew, I've been avoiding it.

I love Divine Design...I think Candice Olson is one of the best TV designers.
The "Real estate" ones--House Hunters, Sell This House, Property Ladder, etc.

Do you mean on HGTV? I'll have to ask my daughter 'coz she loves that channel. I think it's the Learning channel, but I like "Trading Spaces", "While you were gone" and there's one where they build a home for someone that really deserves a break..but I can't recall the name of the show.

You don't mean "Extreme Makeover Home Edition??"

I watch that one religiously...with a box of tissues beside me...its always so sad.

That show does touch your heart...but, then Ty Pennington comes on the screen. Meow! :smitten:

I enjoy all of the shows on TLC & HGTV -- Designed to Sell, Property Ladder, Trading Spaces, House Hunters (all of the ones already mentioned). The Designer competition on HGTV caught my attention, as well.

The only thing about Candace Olson's show is that they don't really tell the viewer the expense or where the items are purchased. Iit appears that her rooms are always high end...which isn't a 'bad' thing -- but I like the quick fix suggestions that don't cost an arm and a leg.

hey who wan the Design Star show?? I missed the last episode.

Yeah, I agree...Olsens stuff looks PRICEY

Sunny

Yipes...don't remember his name...but, the guy won! His style was very 'Vern-esque'.

Gryphon

I dont either...but I know it was down to him and the southern gal...
well, either way it was a good pick. The guys orange and white room was awesome...but none of his other stuff stands out to me.
