I was happy I saw a blue sky this morning, or any sky at all for that matter.  And yes, I am burning up.  I broke a sweat while walking to my car this morning.  How are things in your neck of the woods?

About the same here,  two of my kids are playing All-Stars, so I'm running around the park every night sweating, chasing the other two...     I really worry about all the farm workers out in this every day.  Seems dangerous.

That's why we bring them up from Mexico.  Immigration has nothing to do with cheap labor.  Global Warming is moving people north.  Soon, we'll be Canada's Mexico.  So if we reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the "undocumented workers" will go away, and all the hubub will die down.  But the capitalists will give up neither their need for cheap labor nor their need to pump out CO2.

I guess because I like everyone here and I can post with my friend Sunny again.  I just find forums to be a lot of fun!  No real political or spiritual reason, just out of interest. 

I started posting on forums almost 2 years ago because I was looking for mental stimulation. I feel that I 'lucked upon' finding some folks scattered in different places, and was detoured to the Zone.

I feel so fortunate for that.

Our tourneys are this week. Then we're done. My son, while he's made awesome progress, won't be playing All Stars this year. This was his first year in baseball ever, but he's not All Star material yet. I'm hoping by next year. BUT I'm soooo sad! He's on the greatest team and I love all the kids so much. They're the greatest group of kids I've ever been around and they all act like they're the best of friends. It makes me almost regret our upcoming move, because we'll miss the friends. And all of the moms are awesome, too. We've become such a little tight knit group of moms; I've never seen this kind of comraderie before with my older son's teams.

When I first found THE ZONE, I was scared to disagree with anything or anyone because of differant boards where things got really rough. I don't like to fight. I can fight, but I hate it.
I find myself still a little afraid to say some of my ideas.. it takes a long time to teach an old dog new tricks.. but I am starting to feel more secure.
I am never afraid to say I am wrong, but I hate to be put down and made fun of..... kinda takes all the fun out of a board.
