CNN) – The Vatican on Friday appeared to push back on a recently publicized piece of papyrus that appears to show an early Christian referring to Jesus' wife, with its newspaper calling the fragment "a fake."

"Substantial reasons would lead us to conclude that the papyrus is actually a clumsy counterfeit," the Vatican's  newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, said in a Friday editorial by the newspaper's editor.. . .

  Well, you wouldn't want them to admit that the Pope is wrong on anything.    They were wrong when they said the earth was the center of our universe.  They were wrong on the Crusades.  They were wrong on the Inquisition.  They were wrong when that made their priest celibate.  The church was wrong when the burnt a 19 year of girl Joan of Arch.  The whole history of the Catholic Church has been murder, deceit and the mistreatment of young children and their members.

  Why on earth would they want Jesus Christ a normal man, a family man.  But it's all fiction a of part of the smoke and mirrors of the Catholic Church and all about power over the Sheeple.  The more things change the more things stay the same.  Dumbass people.    Let us pray.        What a joke.

  When you see the Muslims riot over a movie, a burned Koran, a cartoon.  You can under stand how stupid these people are.  But when you think about it the people of the bible were less educated and knew less then the Muslims of today.  And the crazy religious Christians believe that the bible was the written word of god.  How stupid can you be.   

  But when you hear that a Christian has a miracles they won't tell you what happen, it was just between them and god.    Was it a religious experience or just a bad meal. 

  Everybody has heard of 'Our Lady of Lourdes' where a young girl saw the Virgin Mary in 1858.  Millions people have traveled in the last 158 years, drinking and bathing in the holy waters of the Lady of the Lourdes springs wishing and praying for a cure.   

  In that 154 years the Catholic Church has recognized only 67 cures.  With all of the people who has been there hoping for a cure was wasting their time and money.  They could have more luck at Las Vegas and had more fun.     

  What would Jesus think of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan and the way they want to take care of the poor, old and sick.

U.S. Rep. Paul Broun's view that the theories of evolution and the big bang are "lies straight from the pit of Hell" is getting more exposure than he might have expected, thanks to a video that was made at a church-sponsored banquet in Georgia and distributed by a progressive political watchdog group.

The Georgia Republican is already well-known as an outspoken conservative Christian, due in part to his unsuccessful campaign to have 2010 declared "the Year of the Bible." But the latest comments have taken on an extra dab of controversy because Broun, a medical doctor, calls himself a scientist in the video and chairs the House Science Committee's panel on investigations and oversight.

The video clip, distributed by the Bridge Project, was taken from a longer version recorded on Sept. 27 during the 2012 Sportsman's Banquet at Liberty Baptist Church in Hartwell, Ga. Here's a transcript of the Bridge Project's snippet:

"God's word is true. I've come to understand that. All that stuff I was taught about evolution and embryology and the big bang theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of Hell. And it's lies to try to keep me and all the folks who were taught that from understanding that they need a savior. You see, there are a lot of scientific data that I've found out as a scientist that actually show that this is really a young Earth. I don't believe that the earth's but about 9,000 years old. I believe it was created in six days as we know them. That's what the Bible says.

"And what I've come to learn is that it's the manufacturer's handbook, is what I call it. It teaches us how to run our lives individually, how to run our families, how to run our churches. But it teaches us how to run all of public policy and everything in society. And that's the reason as your congressman I hold the Holy Bible as being the major directions to me of how I vote in Washington, D.C., and I'll continue to do that."

Broun's comments were greeted with applause, and they probably reflect how a lot of his constituents feel about the same issues. He's assured of re-election in any case, due to the fact that he has no Democratic Party challenger in next month's election.

  After watching this moron, they need to hang him on the wall with the rest of the dead deer.  These are the 33% of the voters who want to get in control of this great country.  This is one reason that the Constitution was created that there was to be a separation between religion and the government.   

  When you look and listen to him, he and the others of the 33% are the Taliban of the United States of America.  Let us pray.      by the people who believe in this phony smoke and mirrors religion that they never get in control.
