It has been a while since things have gotten stirred up   ....and it has been a while since I have stood up for things that I have quietly looked over... :(

First of all, this President, I believe is as good as man that has been in that white house in several years....so many of you out there, have drank the liberal kool-aid....the democrats number one 'strategery'  to re-gain the white house has been, to destroy this man, at any cost....and because the main-steam media, along with the likes of Soros and the Hollywood left, they are close to being successful....they have a such strong hatred for everything that used to be right for this country......it has been a campaign of epic proportions......and the top of their agenda, I believe, is too destroy Christianity....

Christians have been under attack heavily.....it has been evident on here...on TV, the theaters and in every town across this country....they are depicting Jesus as a fraud...there are shows on all the time, questioning the existence of God..........Christians are being called "radicals" and compared to al Qaeda or the Taliban...being "hateful and intolerant"....and the very heritage of this country is being tarnished away by all of this deception going on....

The likes of the ACLU, has been spending millions of dollars to eradicate the freedoms of religion that this Country once stood for....

Killing an unborn baby is wrong...............but, today, it goes on like teeth being pulled at the dentist office...........

Homosexuality is wrong.....but, if anybody dare disagrees with it, they are called homophobes and are called gay bashers and are mean and hateful people...

I can agree, that Religion in public schools may not be in best interest to all.....but, it has become accepted as the norm to teach 'secularism' as the "best" interest to all....it is okay to teach evolution, but NOT creationism.....to teach alternative lifestyles as an acceptable way of life, and how to wear a condom, and that IF a girl get's pregnant, she does not have to tell her parents.....

I believe Guns do not kill people....and taking guns away from people will not curb violence...

I think a strong military is a good thing and a MUST to assure peace and freedom.....but, our military is the first thing cut, when the left has its way......I also believe that EVIL exists in this world, and it is okay, to want to destroy evil.....I believe that we ARE the good guys.....

I believe in one God, the God of Abraham, the Creator of the Universe, the Father of Jesus Christ, that was born, immaculate to the virgin Mary...that he was crucified on the Cross.... .....that He died for our sins... but was risen ....that he lives, and that those who believe in Him, will have everlasting life....

Pretty simple....really...

Ahh...I feel a little better now

I, was inspired to write this after reading a Thread by my buddy Palehorse about time to 'wake up'.......

alright....I don't want to do this..........but it is time for me to take off my gloves...

I'm no preacher, and never plan on it..........but, THIS is why that Book everybody LOVES to tear apart...called the Holy Bible is important....

now before I get started, I know religion sucks.....I'm not talking about religion.............I'm talking about living the life that Jesus of Nazareth taught us some 2000 year ago.......

Now stay with me...........for now forget the spiritual stuff....just follow along with logic first....

He laid out some pretty basic and simple rules to live by: it covers murder, adultery, divorce, forgiveness, giving and lying.......but, the biggy, el numero one-oh......was to love your neighbor.......

now I know ALL of these have been broken since man first started out here be it a million years ago or 5,000 years ago....

take the 'Sermon on the Mount'.....ever since these words were first uttered....they have been both criticized and cherished..."It all makes sense, but they just aint practical"....or "it can never ever work in this ol world"....."how is it that, this old book can provoke so much controversy?...and seem to have so many interpretations?"

Mark Twain once said he was "bothered more by the parts of the Bible that he could understand than by the parts he could not understand"...

If we could just try to LIVE by the simple words that He laid out for us...in chapters 5 thru 7 of the Gospel according to Matthew (give it a quick read for me...please)....this would be a much simple world to live in............

But, NO...today's society, has decided that degrading those Words are much more important than teaching them to our children......my dear friend Dan has such a strong dislike for anything associated with this Book...and he is not alone..........the numbers are growing larger and larger...........and it seems to me coincidentally, that the more we chose to ignore it, the farther down our nation seems to sink.....

I understand that I, or anyone has the right to legislate Religion or force anybody to worship anybody or anything..........but, I DO, think, there are some pretty simple words that, we as a nation, would hold a tad sacred, and close to our hearts......could turn this country back into a great nation, with a people that want nothing else, but to love their neighbors....and wake up...

now, I'll pass around the offering plate... ;D

hypothetical:

couple of years from now...hillary is prez...things going about par for the course, when one day she sees a couple of homeless people holding signs that say "the end of the world is nigh".

sooooo, she rushes right into the oval office to preempt whatever is on tv that night to tell the people that the end of the world is upon us, national emergency, martial law, all that jazz.

and to this you would say...?
