Okay, Nancy is butting in waters she has no place being....once again, she is playing politics, she needs to quit playing around, Syria has aided and abetted the infiltration of Islamic terrorists into Iraq, refuses to abide by terms of a U.N. ceasefire resolution that stopped the fighting in Lebanon, and supported radical Palestinian terrorists opposed to peace with Israel....and she is only underminding the President, and sending mixed signals to the world....she was not elected to do what she is doing....she was not asked by our leaders to butt in....
she is DANGEROUS...all for politics....to get back in control....

I think she should take Rosie O'Donnell with her and they should both stay. 
I don't understand why Nancy thinks she knows so much more than anyone else or how she figures she can make a difference.  What part about "they don't like women over there" don't she understand.  They've already figured out how they can use her visit to their advantage and, yes, it will undermine everything President Bush is trying to do.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may well have committed a felony in traveling to Damascus this week, against the wishes of the president, to communicate on foreign-policy issues with Syrian President Bashar Assad. The administration isn't going to want to touch this political hot potato, nor should it become a partisan issue. Maybe special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, whose aggressive prosecution of Lewis Libby establishes his independence from White House influence, should be called back.

She wants regular military flights not only for herself and her staff, but also for relatives and for other members of the California delegation...

She gave rep. William Jefferson, a seat on the Homeland Security panel, even though she removed him from the Ways and Means committee last year because he is under investigation from the FBI for federal bribery....

makes you wonder how ethical of a congress she REALLY wants to run...

and...she misrepresented Israel's position to Assad, announcing that she had delivered a message from Olmert that "Israel was ready to engage in peace talks" with Syria. Olmert quickly issued a statement denying that.....

he was elected....he is the Commander-In-Chief.....the relations that have been damaged by him...ie...france and germany....can easily be said that THEY damaged relations with us....

When the democrats took over the first of this year, Nancy Pelosi seemed full of P & V, when she pledged to end the Iraq war.....eliminate the Bush tax cuts........and bring an end to the corruption in washington.

fast forward,120 days later, Pelosi Power has accomplished .... nothing

Except, that is, to drive congressional approval ratings below those of the man who Pelosi calls "incompetent," ..... at least he seems competent enough to outdo the even more incompetent Speaker Pelosi....toss in the billions of dollars of "pork" she promised to her buddies, to get even this latest bill to possibly pass...that and the wonderful visit she took to meet with President Assad, and displaying her tremendous diplomacy skills ....THINGS are MUCH better now.....
