Tax increases hurts people like you and I the hardest...the rich, will keep on doing what they do....tax increases generally stiffen the economy...and then it hurt us......

Not sure I can explain this simply enough but I'll give it a try.

You raise tax's on business(supposedly rich).....business quits investing and producing because they're being taxed to excess....people are laid off because there is no work.....small business can't make it because people are laid off because big business has slowed production because of raised tax's....no one to buy from small business because they're out of work.....Of course middle class has also had a tax increase so they aren't able to buy what little product is still being produced....more people laid off and out of jobs.....So now what you have is even more people on welfare and food stamps with the few middle class people who still have jobs paying the load and guess what......the low income people who weren't paying income tax to begin with are still in the same shape plus there are even more people who were once middle income which are now low income.   Can you elaborate on that Henry?  Not sure I worded it real well there but I tried.... :)

Oh that's right....the tax increase to business' and rich people allow the government to have more money to pay for all the people who are on welfare because there aren't any jobs so actually the government does have more money they are just giving it back to the low and middle income in the form of welfare therefore destroying the middle income because they are now low income.  You keep forgetting the people who are saying increase the tax's on the rich are the rich and you really think they are going to increase their tax's......You've hit your head dude.  :poke:
