The one and only time I made to Wrigley field, it was a hot dog and an old style....for some reason, it tasted like the best thing in the world that day!!

What do they put on an "old style" hot dog?

Old Style is a beer brand in Chicago. It dominates the signage of the majority of neighborhood bars.

Never truly liked the stuff, or any other domestic swill served. I was a Miller Lite guy when I had to drink domestic, but if an import was available I would go that way every time.

I thought Hank was talking about a hot dog, so I actually Googled a Wrigley Field hot dog, and came up with several variations in the search results.

Not sure what happened to Sandy Eggo.  She pretty much just disappeared.

What other old gang are you talking about besides her?

For me the old gang was the one that began in the Bluefield Daily Telegraph Obituary column. A high school friend suggested I check it out, and did, and WOW: there was a side of Bluefield, WV and Bluefield VA that I did not know about. I was hooked. It was quite a while before it began falling apart and I joined up here. As for Sandy, I miss her. I thought she was one classy lady.

Yeah, I agree. She and I disagreed and nearly everything politically and religiously, but was able to be civil and kid around with one another.  I miss her.

I remember when the BDT was just a basic messaging system where you could post comments on article, etc.  Before they ever switched to Hey Martha.

After the HM transition, that's when I 'met' all of the fine people here like Hank, Palehorse, Y, Exterminator, etc.  Unfortunately, it's also the time I met Dingo Don rose and all of his sock accounts like Jack the Toad, etc.

Maybe I'll shoot her an email and see if we can get her to stop back by.  No promises though.
