I know Christmas is over, but we don't want things ONLY at the holidays, right?

Here's what I want...Post yours, too!

Those look pretty neat. Where did you learn about them?!? Have you actually smelled them?

We've been considering the investment of a pellet stove...no scent whatsoever. Not that I dont' enjoy the smell of a woodburning fireplace, but I could live without the after-scent! (especially when it's raining outside).

Sunny

Oh, and I've got a LONG wish list...sure you wanna see it all?

For starters, I'd like to update some more of the lighting fixtures in & around the house.

These arent' the exact lights, but what needs to be replaced!

First, we have a hanging exterior light above the main entry that has *yellow* glass...I'd like to change that ASAP:

Then downstairs in the family room, there are matching yellow-glassed wall sconces:

In the late spring, I would like to add some landscaping lights to the front of the house:

How's that?

Good stuff!!! I like!

I found them while searching for those Holy Smokes. Not sure if they smell good or not, but I love the smell of a fireplace, but with only a gas log...

OOOOH I forgot to tell Aaron! The new house is electric...no gas! Yay! That means no gas log! Woo hoo!

When will you start building a new house?!?

~Daisy~

Not sure. Hopefully we'll be able to do this!

Very cool! I'll keep you in my thoughts...do you have a layout of the house you'd like to build?

I'd like to add some type of pendant lights to my wish list, over the sink & over either the island or breakfast counter`...if we get to the kitchen remodel this year:

~Daisy~

I have a couple, actually. Soon I might be able to narrow it down to make my wish list!

you know what would look good at your house Sunny? If you uplit the columns...

~Daisy~

Ooh, that would look nice

How do you do that? With landscaping spot-lights?

We are the only house on our street that doesn't have landscaping lights...therefore, it *really* stands out as "outdated".

Yeah, you probably want some pretty strong ones to shoot all the way up the column...but it would look really dramatic. They make some that have a fairly narrow spread, so it could light the porch without blinding through the windows at you. Theres a house down the road with big columns across the front, and they did some remodeling recently and added those lights---its really cool looking at night.

Sunny

I appreciate the suggestion, Gryphon! ...I will definitely mention it to the man in charge.
