Well,it is actually afternoon and the weather forecasters say it will not be quite as hot here  today as recently. We usually don't get this kind of heat until late July and August. Hmmm... wonder what kind of weather we'll have for our July 4th holiday when our POTUS has a special celebration planned in honor of himself  :wink:

 :mad: Well, I just wrote something and somehow I must've hit the wrong key because it disappeared. Anyway, as I was saying, July and August are always miserable here, but it seems to be getting hotter sooner and still going in the fall. I think this must be what global warming feels like, especially with all those glaciers melting.  :(

Hello? Anybody home? yes, I  know it's been quite a while since I've looked in here, but not because I didn't want to but  because the dimming of vision that comes with cataracts :rant: was so unexpected. . -- well, I knew I hadn't checked in with my ophthalmologist for a while --I could/can still drive without glasses but  having trouble reading and using my cell phone. I have an appointment on Wednesday with doctor who will do the surgery so hope it won't be long until I can get my normal vision back. It has taken me probably 15 minutes at least to write this.

Hope your surgery turns out as well as mind did. You will notice quite a difference in colors and things will be so much brighter.
