Here we go!

Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube have all removed pages and content from InfoWars.  I personally don't like InfoWars because Alex Jones is a liar, a racist, and a bigot.  He's found a way to monetize the base emotions of a lot of Americans, especially when you have the POTUS fanning the flames of those emotions via his mouth and Twitter feed.

It's undeniable that all three platforms have the right to remove content for any reason, or no reason at all, and they did just that.

So....thoughts?

  You are right, Alex Jones is everything you say he is.    Beside that, is the snake oil he sells.  Would you or anyone in their right mind buy any of his crap.    He sure is a lying bully and is full of bullshit.

For the record, I am NOT a fan of Alex Jones. Never have been.  Funny thing is, I never heard of him until somebody on here brought him up a few years ago.  I don't think he is even close to a voice for most of the conservatives that I know.  He is loud and obnoxious, I can't stand to hear him talk.

As far as google, facebook and such......I would just like to see them be consistent.  If they get out of hand, I don't have to support them...that is the way it should work.

My only thought AGAINST this is, we got to be careful with the our first amendment rights of free speech.....Yes, Google, youtube, facebook as PH says, "their sandbox, their rules"...and as I somewhat agree.....THAT seems to be fair.

But as I thought more about it, we DO live in a country where our speech is to be protected....as long as Alex Jones isn't promoting violence and just saying things that facebook disagrees with then facebook needs to be reminded of this.  Now, let me say, I have NO IDEA what or why they banned Alex Jones.  I don't know what he said or done.  Also, as I said, I don't like him or agree with his demeanor or tactics of his messages.

So, tell me, what did Alex Jones say that was wrong?  ( I really don't know, just asking)
