I would have been perfectly fine with someone like McCain as president but not so much with the whack job Sarah Palin as vice.

Sarah Palin was sure a wack job, the Republican was sure trying to pull the wool  :baaa: :baaa: over our eyes with Palin.     But the Republican Party sure pulled the wool over America's eyes with Trump.  :trustme:  :tiphat:

Which Republicans would you consider reasonable?

I know this wasn't directed at me, but John Kasich is another one, along with Lindsey Graham that I consider to be more 'reasonable' than Trump.  Trump stirred, and still stirs, a lot of base emotions in people and not the nice ones.

The Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics says a record 155,965,000 people were employed in July, the 11th record-breaker since President Trump took office 19 months ago.

The economy created 59,000 more jobs in May and June than previously reported.

Manufacturers added 37,000 jobs, the most in seven months...

Average hourly pay gains increased 2.7 percent...

I voted for him but now he is too old and has too many medical issues. Anyone else?

I also like Mr. Kasich, would have preferred him over President Trump. I don't care much for Mr. Graham, something about him gives me the creeps. I don't know what it is, it's just there.😕

Perhaps that many view him as a closet homosexual?  ;D

I don't know about that, I just don't like him. Being homosexual wouldn't bother me, too many friends and relatives around  for that to bother me.

Manufacturers added 37,000 jobs, the most in seven months...

Jobs added during the Obama administration from January of 2015 through July of 2016 were 4.125 billion.  Jobs added during the same period under the Trump administration were 3.961 billion, a decrease of 434 million.  Please note that I am giving Trump January of 2017, which was his second best month on record and he wasn't the president for most of it.  If we eliminate January of 2015 and January of 2017 from the comparison, the decrease is almost 500 million jobs.

QuoteAverage hourly pay gains increased 2.7 percent...

Yes they did!  Unfortunately, the Consumer Price Index also rose 2.7 percent during this period so the net increase in actual wages is zero.  Under Obama, the CPI increased an average of 1.8% per year.  (This number will increase more as the effects of tariffs begin to affect the cost of consumer goods.)

Here are some other fun facts about things that have increased during Trump's presidency so far:

Home prices - up 17%

Trade deficit - up 13.6%

Gas prices - up 24%

Federal debt - up more than $1 trillion (annual budget deficits are also up sharply)

Americans with no health insurance - up 3.2 million

CO2 emissions - up .24% (they fell 14.4% from 2007 - 2017 but are now rising again and expected to reach an  increase of 1.8% for all of 2018)

And the one that really tells the story:

Corporate profits - up 10.1%

Are you tired of all of the winning yet?

The Republican do it every time.  They cut taxes for the corporations, cut taxes for the rich, cut regulations on pollution, drive the country into trillions of dollars in debt.  Then they crow :chick: about how conservative they are.  :bs:  :bs:  :bs:  :zoners:

This should be millions in total and decreases of thousands...my bad.
