Hank, you may see him as a negotiator, but he doesn't have a clue what he's doing.  I could go out and negotiate a nuclear arms deal, but it doesn't mean that I'm qualified to do so.  Same with Trump.

And the difference between Trump and his predecessors is that at least previous presidents would listen to advisers when making such negotiations; listening to people who have been in that sort of business for decades.  Trump goes it alone thinking he alone has all the answers, and he snivels around like a petulant child when people try to tell him he's wrong. 

That is where YOU are making assumptions.  Fact is, Trump has many, many advisers.  He merely isn't doing it the way it has typically been done....which hasn't been all that successful in the past.  The bottom line is, that YOU hate Trump.  PERIOD.  Watch his actions not so much his words.  The end result is what matters.

BTW, did you see our economy grew by 4.1 percent in the second quarter?  That is a direct result of Donald J Trump.  His policies ARE working.  He isn't perfect, but he IS doing some good things, yet, you guys will never, EVER, admit it.

Assumptions about what?  China is absolutely buying soybeans from Russia instead of us and we are absolutely doling out welfare to farmers who have no market for what they are producing.  Those aren't assumptions, those are facts.

Fact is, Trump has many, many advisers.

Sure he does but he doesn't use them.  Pompeo couldn't tell the Senate this week what Trump and Putin talked about because Pompeo doesn't know.  Let than sink in for a minute.  The Secretary of State doesn't know what the POTUS talked about in a secret meeting with the leader of a hostile foreign government and neither do any of the rest of his senior advisers.  He is constantly surprising them with his actions that he takes without ever having consulted them.  Again...FACT!

He merely isn't doing it the way it has typically been done....which hasn't been all that successful in the past.

Actually, it has been successful in the past.  No one needed to make America great again...we were already great.  Trump is flushing our democracy and our standing in the world down the toilet.

I did see that and I will admit that that growth was caused in part by Trump's policies but, again, he is playing a short game and it isn't sustainable over the long haul.  That temporary growth spurt will cost us dearly down the road.

There are morons on both sides indeed and I would have hated Cruz because he's a slime ball.  I don't automatically hate a candidate because he/she is a Republican.  Your party has and could nominate reasonable, rational candidates with whom I would have no problem should they get elected.  Trump is not reasonable or rational...he's a whack job.
