Exactly....proving my point.

The problem with your position is that I have facts on my side.

Hank, you may see him as a negotiator, but he doesn't have a clue what he's doing.  I could go out and negotiate a nuclear arms deal, but it doesn't mean that I'm qualified to do so.  Same with Trump.

And the difference between Trump and his predecessors is that at least previous presidents would listen to advisers when making such negotiations; listening to people who have been in that sort of business for decades.  Trump goes it alone thinking he alone has all the answers, and he snivels around like a petulant child when people try to tell him he's wrong.

That is where YOU are making assumptions.  Fact is, Trump has many, many advisers.  He merely isn't doing it the way it has typically been done....which hasn't been all that successful in the past.  The bottom line is, that YOU hate Trump.  PERIOD.  Watch his actions not so much his words.  The end result is what matters.

BTW, did you see our economy grew by 4.1 percent in the second quarter?  That is a direct result of Donald J Trump.  His policies ARE working.  He isn't perfect, but he IS doing some good things, yet, you guys will never, EVER, admit it.

Ex, you know as well as I do, there are morons on both sides.  There are folks on the left (MANY, I might add) who hate Trump, for no logical reason, other than the don't like him.  They would have equally hated Cruz or who ever the nominee would have been.

Hey, I have alternative FACTS!!!  ;D

Alternative or fake?

I think if you want fake, just go to CNN or MSNBC, they have a proven track record of fake news....btw, I was making a joke with the "alternative" remark.

That is where YOU are making assumptions.

Assumptions about what?  China is absolutely buying soybeans from Russia instead of us and we are absolutely doling out welfare to farmers who have no market for what they are producing.  Those aren't assumptions, those are facts.

QuoteFact is, Trump has many, many advisers.

Sure he does but he doesn't use them.  Pompeo couldn't tell the Senate this week what Trump and Putin talked about because Pompeo doesn't know.  Let than sink in for a minute.  The Secretary of State doesn't know what the POTUS talked about in a secret meeting with the leader of a hostile foreign government and neither do any of the rest of his senior advisers.  He is constantly surprising them with his actions that he takes without ever having consulted them.  Again...FACT!

QuoteHe merely isn't doing it the way it has typically been done....which hasn't been all that successful in the past.

Actually, it has been successful in the past.  No one needed to make America great again...we were already great.  Trump is flushing our democracy and our standing in the world down the toilet.

QuoteThe bottom line is, that YOU hate Trump.  PERIOD.

This is the only part of your post that is factually correct.

QuoteWatch his actions not so much his words.  The end result is what matters.

LMFAO!  This is awesome because it's hysterical how accurate John Avlon was in a CNN editorial from a couple of days ago (emphasis is mine).  It describes you and your ilk to a t:

"In '1984,' the Ministry of Truth is dedicated to teaching citizens to accept sinister nonsense, like 2+2=5 and War is Peace. The test of a loyal party member is 'a loyal willingness to say that black is white when Party discipline demands this. But it means also the ability to believe that black is white, and more, to know that black is white, and to forget that one has ever believed the contrary.'

In other words, the test of loyalty is not only to lie for the regime but to convince oneself to believe the lies, or at least to dismiss any meaningful difference between truth and lies. And that's where the real danger with the hyper-partisan defense of Trump is emerging.

Increasingly, you hear a normalization of the idea that President Trump's lies are merely matters of style and not substance. This is accompanied by the exhausted excuse that Americans shouldn't worry about what Trump says but instead watch what he (or his administration) does. This requires buying into the moral relativism at the heart of Trump's deny, distract, deflect and divide rhetorical strategy. The last and laziest defense is a shot of whatabout-ism accompanied with the chaser that says a fact-based debate is itself is divisive."

QuoteBTW, did you see our economy grew by 4.1 percent in the second quarter?  That is a direct result of Donald J Trump.  His policies ARE working.  He isn't perfect, but he IS doing some good things, yet, you guys will never, EVER, admit it.

I did see that and I will admit that that growth was caused in part by Trump's policies but, again, he is playing a short game and it isn't sustainable over the long haul.  That temporary growth spurt will cost us dearly down the road.

There are morons on both sides indeed and I would have hated Cruz because he's a slime ball.  I don't automatically hate a candidate because he/she is a Republican.  Your party has and could nominate reasonable, rational candidates with whom I would have no problem should they get elected.  Trump is not reasonable or rational...he's a whack job.

Well, I hate to the morrow of my bones, Rayan, McConnell, Pence, Cruz, all of the Republicans in Washington DC and all of the Trump crime family and all of the people from the swamp that Trump has picked.  All criminals, traitors everyone.   :trustme:

As Ex has already stated a couple of times, accurately I might add, short term gains that cannot be sustained at best. General Motors is a prime example surrounding the long term ramifications of such actions.

I would have been perfectly fine with someone like McCain as president but not so much with the whack job Sarah Palin as vice.
