FINALLY! An accomplishment by a Trump that I, as a citizen of this nation, can be proud of! But not by the guy with a cat for a hat, but rather by the FLOTUS Melania.

Her planning and meticulous attention to the details surrounding the state dinner tonight with France was top shelf, very well done, and something I would personally endorse as a true accomplishment. (By all accounts).

Following closely on the heels of her class act in attending the funeral of Barbara Bush, and even smiling for a group picture with the former POTUS/FLOTUS group shot, demonstrates that at least she has the dignity, poise, compassion, and focus to truly represent this nation at its best. And the foresight to carefully include this nation's history within a state dinner, by incorporating items and styles that embraced and represent this nations history with the nation it was hosting within the event.

I admit to cringing when I first learned she was foregoing an event planner and instead attending to the task on her own. I had serious doubts and the First Lady quashed them with subtle and very high impact style. In my honest opinion.

Her husband may be a blubbering, philandering, ass, but she apparently has not let that impact her to this point. And I will say this surprises me and provides me with hope for this nation. Not that I expect her husband to do anything rational or noteworthy in a positive way at all. Rather, hope that this nation will endure this cancer I refer to as the raging cheeto, and emerge in a way that will enable us to survive.

Thank you FLOTUS Melania Trump, and very well done!  :yes: :smile:
