If you read the article, you would know the majority (2/3rds) of immigrants in the USA without authorization first entered the country legally, and then overstayed their visas. How does a wall help that? 

Do you really think a wall is going to stop people from coming across the border?  You have heard of tunnels, haven't you? How about the shoreline?

Here's a quote from your hero Trump that is very telling on what really protects America and what we need more of: With so much talk about the Wall, people are losing sight of the great job being done on our Southern Border by Border Patrol, ICE and our great Military.  

That money could go to other more important things.  Infrastructure, education...especially education to teach people critical thinking skills instead of emotional thinking and how to fact check. 

Why aren't we building a wall along Canada?  Illegal crossing there went up 142%! And nearly seven times as many immigrants who were on terror watch lists were stopped on the nation's northern border with Canada.  If we're going to build a wall along Mexico, shouldn't we also build one along Canada since more terrorists try to come in that way?

My hatred toward him is not what matters.  I hate anyone who is a bully who thinks he can get away with assaulting a woman and thinks some Neo-Nazis are "very fine people".  This is a stupid promise, just like Mexico is going to pay for the wall.  That doesn't look like that's happening either.

If Senator Chuck Schumer & Senate Democrats hadn't objected that would have passed. President Trump could have signed it tonight.
